IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS TO CANDIDATES

1. Cell phone is not allowed inside the examination hall in any mode (switched ON/Switched OFF).
Possessing the Cell Phone in the examination hall is treated as Malpractice.
2. Pen drive or any other digital gadgets (Electronic arm band, Programmable watches, Digital Watches,
Programmable Calculators, etc) in any form are strictly prohibited in the examination hall. Simple
calculators including scientific calculators are allowed.
3. All must occupy the allotted seat 10 minutes before the commencement of exam. Loitering in the
corridors or in the college campus after the examination bell will be viewed seriously. Only under the
extraordinary circumstances, the candidate is allowed in to the examination hall within 30 minutes of
the main bell. No candidate will be allowed beyond 30 minutes from the main bell under any
circumstance.
4. Students without hall ticket must get a duplicate from the specified college office. The duplicate hall
ticket is valid only for the concerned day. Candidates having attendance shortage but using the duplicate
hall ticket will not validate the examination.
5. Students are encouraged to make the best use of the full examination time up to three hours. No student
can leave the examination hall in the first half an hour of the examination.
6. Students are required to get their own water bottle. Water providing service is discouraged.
7. No student will be allowed to use the toilets except in medical cases that too with prior information.
Students leaving the examination hall will not be allowed to re-enter.
8. Bags, Books, any printed material etc. must be kept out of reach of students either on the
platform/outside the examination hall/specified place.
9. Do not keep any valuable items in the bag. No complaints with regard to loss of valuables will be
entertained.
10. Any kind of malpractice during the examination will be viewed seriously and students will be booked
under malpractice regulations. Writing/scribbling/marking on the question paper is considered as a
malpractice.
11. Handover the answer papers personally to the invigilator.
12. Please read all the instructions written in the hall ticket.
13. You must report “desk write up” if any to the invigilator before the starting of examination. Desk writing
is treated as examination malpractice.
14. You must write the answer in the single answer booklet.No additional sheets will be issued.
15. Candidates shall note carefully the date, time and title of the paper to be held each day. They shall take
their places in the examination hall at least five minutes before the time fixed for the commencement of
the examination. A candidate coming after half an hour of the appointed time will not be admitted.
16. Candidates shall search their pockets,desks and benches and handover to the Room Superintendent any
paper,book or note which they may find therein before starting to answer the paper of their
examination.
17. They shall use only royal blue or black ink while answering their papers.
18. Any candidates found guilty of deliberate previous arrangement to cheat in the examination such as
smuggling in another answer book,impersonations or some other misconduct of serious nature shall be
debarred which may extend to 3 years.
19. A Candidate who commits any one of the following offences during the examination is said to have
committed Malpractice if he/she.
a. Has in his/her possession or has access to any papers,books or notes or chits with contents related to
the subject of examination or mobile Phone/Electronic Gadget in any form.
b. Is found receiving assistance from others or giving assistance to others.
c. Is copying from any paper,book or notes.
d. Allows any other candidate to copy from his/her answer books or is found trying to copy from the
neighbours.
e. Is found having any written matter on the person(palm,leg,hand,clothes etc.)
f. Disclose his/her identity by making peculiar marks in the answer book while answering.
g. Writes any appeal in the answer book for more mark etc, or uses obscene or abusive language.
h. Tries to cause disturbance to the fellow examinees.
i. Scribbles the points on the question paper.
j. Scribbles the points on the question paper and passes on the same to other examinee.
k. Tears off or spoils the sheets in the answer book.
l. Destroys any evidence of malpractice.
20. A candidate in the commission of a malpractice in the examination shall give a written statement to the
Chief Superintendent. He/She will be allowed to continue answering the examination in a separate
answer book. He/She will be allowed to write subsequent theory paper/practicals/viva-voce etc,but such
papers will be valued only if the Principal clears him/her.
