matters concerning but not limited to;

Additionally, we also conduct extensive trainings to various organizations across sectors e.g.
hospitality, travel and tours, Tertiary institutions, manufacturing, NGO’s, Banking and Insurance
among others.

Recruitment: As a respected consultancy firm, we receive a large number of recruitment


requests by well-established employers seeking great talent to join their teams. In this respect we
continually seek to broaden our talent pool. We do this by requesting all job seeking candidates
to channel their CV’s on our career portal careers@optimumtmc.com. All CV’s received are
carefully processed for review and a follow up tele-conversation is extended to each applicant.

Interview Process: OptimumTMC conducts a pre-interview session with each applicant. This
stage is imperative as we take the time to know you better and assess which of the vacant
positions you best fit. Furthermore, we also review your CV’s and cover letters so as to ensure
they meet minimum expectations. In this light, we highly encourage all our candidates to trust us
and disclose all matters in the past and present as pertains to their career path.

As a HR consultancy firm that is run and managed by highly qualified HR professionals, we


pride ourselves in offering our clients the best breed of candidates in the market. To this end, we
encourage all our candidates to sign up for our Career Development Training “dubbed” GREAT
START- which will cover all you need to know in preparing for an interview and getting the job.
This program runs once monthly at a cost of KES 2500/- only.

Placement: Whenever we get a talent request from any of our clients and your profile fits the
job, we contact you prior to sharing your CV with them so as to confirm your interest and status
of your employment then. If all is well, we hand you over to a potential employer who then takes
over the interview process to its conclusive end.
Upon successful interview, our client will communicate with you and confirm your agreement
and a reporting date will be set. The client will also communicate the same to us, and upon
reporting to your new job, we shall then invoice you our service bill as explained below.

Our Fee: Upon successful placement, as mentioned above, we will charge a onetime service fee
per job opportunity of 50% of your agreed monthly gross salary upon receiving your first pay
cheque from your new employer. This fee can be directly paid by check-off system or can be
paid by yourself upon receiving your salary.

All Payments should be made via OPTIMUM TMC MPESA PAYBILL NUMBER: on; 355070
by the 5th of the following month after reporting to work.

Failure to do so, we shall seek your employer’s intervention in pursuant to the same and this may
lead to undesired disciplinary action against you by both OptimumTMC and your employer.

Once you make your payment, do not forget to email us a copy of the payment for accountability
purposes.

Termination of employment: In case you separate from the company in the below manner,

 Voluntarily resignation or self-termination


 Summary Dismissal
 Procedural Termination from the company for reasons within the law,

Before remitting our service charge, your final dues shall be paid to us by the company in the
amount of 50% of your gross monthly salary.

Please note that in cases of voluntary resign we expect you to use the right
channels and display ethical character by officially writing a resignation letter.
This will ensure that your character is not questionable and show that your
character as a professional is one that can be trusted.

Your CV: The CV shared with us is considered updated and all details are deemed true and
verifiable including references indicated.

Be thorough and make sure we have the final and updated CV as this is the copy that will be
presented to the interviewer. Any changes made thereafter or a different copy presented on your
day of interview will render your CV null and void and you will be disqualified.

Note that any dishonesty to us or the interviewer will not be taken lightly and will disqualify you
from all future association with us. We encourage total disclosure in matters concerning
employment; this includes reasons for termination from your last employment, salary disclosure
or any other information crucial to this employment process.

Professional indiscipline will not be tolerated whatsoever among our candidates.

FAQs:

i. Is this fee payable each month? No, we only charge you 50% of your first month gross
salary.
ii. Does the employer know if this fee is charged? Yes, Your employer is aware of all
steps made during your recruitment process.
iii. Can you reschedule an interview if I’m not able to make it? Yes, however, kindly let
us know 24hrs before your interview scheduled day for this change. We shall
communicate on the next available date once the employer is available.
iv. Can I walk in to an interview that I missed or could not make for on another day?
All interview arrangements are made by OptimumTMC on behalf of the client, therefore
communication is two-way. Kindly reschedule your interview with your recruiter.
v. Why I’m I not receiving any emails? Due to security settings with our company emails,
we are unable to communicate effectively with ‘yahoo mail’ users. We therefore
recommend all our candidates to use GMAILs for swift communications.
vi. How do I keep up-to-date with job openings? OptimumTMC updates their social
media frequently with upcoming job opportunities. Should you feel that you would like to
apply, let us know, we will review your CV with you and put your application in line.
vii. I have an updated CV. Perfect! Always let us know and send your CV to us to update
our database.
