GPA: 4.27

Skills:
Coding Languages: Java, CSS, HTML, Arduino and ROBOTC.
Computer Skills: Proficient in all Microsoft and Google applications

Work Experience:

Artificial Intelligence Software Intern Summer 2018

● Built and designed a critical website used for company data collection
● Ran and programmed Generative Adversarial Network (GAN) artificial intelligence
models to create dental prosthetics
● Attained experience in all aspects of business through shadowing assignments with: the
VP of Operations, Mechanical Engineering Team, Product Manager, Director of Product
Management, IP Attorney, and Data Scientist
● Increased coding proficiency through multiple daily project assignments
● Worked in multicultural and multinational teams on two separate continents which
helped increase my communication, interpersonal, and team building skills

Federal Congressional Campaign Intern September-November 2018

● Trained all incoming interns on procedures, systems, and documentation protocols
● Responsible for making phone calls to voters to enlist their support and funding
● Canvassed in local neighborhoods to enlist voters support

Senior Project:

Aftermarket Active Noise Cancellation Device Fall 2018-Spring 2019

● Researched prior patents on active noise cancellation (ANC) technology
● Worked closely with a mentor and a team to design and create a testable prototype
○ Designed, soldered, and tested circuitry
○ Designed specifications for electronic housing
○ Sourced 3D printing resource for prototype
● Tested and refined the prototype to be able to attach to any pair of headphones and
make the headphones have noise cancelling capabilities
● Prepared, presented and defended the product to a panel of engineers

Engineering Experience:
Successfully completed AP Calculus, AP Physics, and Principles of Engineering with a grade
point average of 4.6. Extensive experience with circuits, reusable energy, electrical and
mechanical engineering principles.
Sample Engineering Work Products:
● ROBOTC/Engineering Design Project: Designed, built, and coded an elevator that can
be called from each floor.
● Reusable Energy Project: Designed and built a car that runs off of reusable energy that
is powerful enough to pull a load of 20 lbs.
● Truss Bridge Engineering Design Project: Designed a truss bridge for Sage Creek High
School and wrote a bid proposal on the bridge. The proposal included critical aspects
such as: the price of the bridge, the engineering behind it, and the timeline of bridge
construction.
● Arduino Boards: Programmed arduinos to do simple, moderate level tasks.
● Circuit Boards: Wired breadboards and designed circuit schematics for moderate to high
level circuits.
● Speed of Sound in Air: Used physics principles such as resonance to determine the
speed of sound in air.
● Instrument Design: Utilized knowledge of harmonics to design and build an instrument
from scratch that could play one harmonic.
● Car Collision: Applied knowledge of kinematics, momentum, and compression, designed
and created a bumper that would exert the least amount of force on the driver of a car.

Other Activities:
● Leader on High School varsity soccer team for 3 years
● Math, Chemistry, and Physics tutor
● Creator and Leader of Short Films Club

Volunteer Work:
● Lifeguard’s Assistant: Assisted in teaching and training kids on how to become a
California State lifeguard.
● Mitchell Thorp Foundation: Helped organize charitable activities to help families and
children in need.
● Carlsbad 5000: Helped set up and execute the Carlsbad 5000 race and the Junior
Carlsbad race.
● Poll Station: Aided in setting-up and running a polling station in the 2018 midterm
elections.
