LEA 213 (Patrol Organization and Operation with Police Communication System)
The organizational set-up of a patrol force and its functions and responsibilities, to
include types of patrol, patrol strategies and tactics; patrol supervision and functional
relationships with other police functions.
a. Be familiar with the history of Patrol including its nature and purpose.
b. To recognize the essence of patrol as the backbone of Police Organization
c. To identify the factors affecting patrol operation
d. Be familiar with the organizational set-up, including its principle; duties and
other patrol detail.
