Remove/Install
Notes on battery AH54.10-P-0001-01A
1 Disconnect ground cable from battery
2 Remove driver's seat Do not detach seat belt. Lift out seat with AR91.10-D-1010A
seat belt and set it down next to driver door.
3 Remove cover of driver seat frame
4 Pull hydraulic pump relay (K84) off base Use a new relay when installing.
5 Unscrew relay carrier
6 Unlock and remove terminal 87 contact in
relay base
7 Insert rectifier diode base into relay carrier Next to hydraulic pump relay (K84).
8 Prepare a 1.0 brown cable, length 400 mm
with pin socket 0.5-1 and cable lug M6
9 Prepare a 1.0 red/blue cable, length 150 mm
with pin socket 0.5-1 and pin socket 4-6
10 Route and connect cable as per the circuit
diagram
11 Insert rectifier diode in base Check and compare connections to
circuit diagram.
12 Write down the plug assignment onto the
cover of the fuse strip
13 Install in the reverse order
