My Dream:
1)Making India No.1 in field of Bio-diesel Production.
2)Empowering farmers of India through bio- fuel plantation.
Our Objectives :
Establishment of perennial oil-bearing plants
• on marginal lands and field boundaries.
• Effective utilization of plant parts, oil and oil cakes at
domestic, farm, village and commercial scales to stimulate
a demand for the resources and related technology.
• Introduction of engine driven oil expelling and related
technology fuelled on the seed oil of oil-bearing plants
• Marketing and the establishment of rural enterprise
• Dissemination.
• Evaluation of the potential of other oil bearing flora as
fuels.
• To reduce the dependence of the Indian economy on
imported oils, fuels and chemical fertilizers.
To mitigate carbon dioxide emissions.
PRODUCTS-----
Fodder: Sheep do not readily browse the plants because of the
offensive smell in young leaves. Mature leaves are
lopped for their excellent sheep fodder.
Fuel: Wood makes good firewood.
Timber: The wood is easily worked but is perishable and
subject to insect attack and stain. It is used in boxes, crates,
poles, fishing floats, tool handles, matches and drums.
Gum or resin: The bark yields a gum of inferior quality.
Medicine: Bark, gum and the bitter aromatic leaves are used
medicinally in home remedies.
Yield--------
A tree may yield as many as 800 fruits in a season but an
average crop is 150 to 200, or, in the better cultivars, up
to 400.
