To Whom it May Concern,

I am writing to enthusiastically recommend Ralph Manalac. Ralph is a member and Co-

President of the Windsor High School chapter of Project T.R.U.E, a program of the Northern
California Center for Well-Being. Project T.R.U.E stands for Teens R U Educated; and their
mission is to raise awareness about the effects of alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs in order to
create change in our community.

I serve as the Program Coordinator of Project T.R.U.E, and have worked closely advising
Ralph for the past two years. Throughout my time supervising Ralph, he has shown great
curiosity, commitment, and leadership skills; along with an outgoing personality and willingness
to be a team player. Project T.R.U.E has been involved in several community efforts; including
the implementation of a Tobacco Retail License in the town of Windsor, publishing a letter to the
editor in the Windsor Times, and implementing a school wide positive social norms campaign to
combat teenage substance abuse. Ralph was an instrumental part of each of these efforts, and
displayed great passion and care for his community and peers throughout his time as a member
of Project T.R.U.E. I have no doubt that Ralph will continue to display his leadership skills
throughout his college career and afterward.

A quality that I believe will ensure Ralph’s success in the future is his tenacity and ability
to engage and uplift members of a team. Working with Ralph has been a wonderful experience,
and I believe he will be a great addition to any organization or team.

Sincerely,

Linnea Huomo
