A mind working on logic without humane values such as compassion, sympathy, empathy,

care, respect, love, etc. is exactly like a sharp knife that will cut all those who will mishandle
it. Without the above mentioned values human mind becomes evil. In place of the good
values, it operates under the influence of nefarious and immoral tendencies such as greed,
malice, jealousy, hatred, selfishness, etc., which always harm others and give deeper cuts
than a real knife. In the history of mankind much damage to civilization and our planet has
been done by those humans who just lived under the influence of cold, apathetic, logical
mind. All the wars, conflicts, conspiracies, etc. were the products of the inhumane logical
mind only. The truth is mind’s logical faculty is quite limited; its range of perception is quite
narrow. On the other hand, the intuitive heart’s range of perception is far bigger. Logical
mind can never be connected to the Omniscience of the Creator of the universe. We believe
that mind allows us to make sense of our lives. But the sense the mind makes is the most
limited kind of sense — the sense of reason and of logic, not the sense of creativity and
improbability. For what the mind thinks is true is often false; and what the mind knows is
false is often true. And so the logic of the mind will surely imprison us in lives that are little
more than algorithms of desire should we believe the mind is all there is to us. Like the man
in my parable, we may build our empires. But only by diminishing our selves to our minds.
Human minds are capable of performing great feats of logical reasoning. How are our minds
able to do this if our machinery is all intuition based? I am going to make the assumption
here that we don't have any innate logical machinery. It is unlikely that Homo sapiens have
evolved this cognitive machinery in the short time we've existed in this planet. Therefore, to
bridge the semantic gap, we need to bridge it using intuition only mechanisms. All we ever
need is intuition components. Some things are beyond the limitations of the logical mind.
They need the alignment of the logical mind and the intuitive mind, to even start to perceive
into them. The conscious connection to/of ones spirit is needed for the abilities of
prescience. Prescience allows for the foresight, the consciousness of the experience of life.
Faith is created, and fostered, by the experiential nature of ones spirit consciousness.
Ordinary intuition sometimes is the way to go. But when we have time to make a decision,
strategic intuition is best. This helps us think clearly and with mindfulness about what is in
front of us. It enables us to extract that which really matters to us — the substance of what
we feel is in our best interest — and provides us with value that guides us toward self-
satisfaction. When people talk about Enlightenment, they mean altered Consciousness and
not a new Mind. All the humans feel love, sadness, hate, anger, etc., every single one of us
and is, in fact, one of the traits which define us. A monk in the Himalayas is undoubtedly not
deprived of Mind, but they probably know how to open up with the Consciousness directly
and not let Mind be a middle-man. In a state of cognitive ease, the intuitive System 1 is in
charge of our minds, and the logical and more energy-demanding System 2 is weakened.
This means we are more intuitive, creative and happier, yet we're also more likely to make
mistakes. In a state of cognitive strain, our awareness is more heightened, and so System 2
is put in charge. System 2 is more ready to double-check our judgments than System 1, so
although we are far less creative, we will make fewer mistakes. So once you decide to
engage in knife play, discuss the boundaries. Sight, touch, use all must be determined.
Some start out with just the threat of use without ever seeing the blade. Others are full
blown knife-skin contact. While the act of drawing the blade across the belly may not be
enough to send your slave flying, the verbal accompaniments before, during and after might
be. Imagine whispering in the ear: "Just wait till tonight when you are bound. I suggest you
not move too much." Hide as you might, time will wear on your consciousness. It will bleed
your mind frame slowly; And with the surprising ease of a sharpened knife. Perception rules
where wisdom fades; And, assumptions breed aggressive followers. I hold with those who
are loyal to the cause, and prepare for the inevitable battle on the horizon. Breathe deeply,
and let your mind envelope the graces and the kindness of unsuspecting supports. Truth
will prevail where lightness is prevalent. ticks … ticks … ticks …
