Why do you choose Japan as a destination to study graduate level education?

Since decades, disasters of fossil fuels have been acknowledged. The need is to replace the conventional
form of energy with sustainable energies. For the reason, I have chosen my field of interest in designing
the advanced equipment of renewable energies that may provide energy at the doorstep without any
distraction. Besides, I also have experience in the related field. During my under graduation, I
successfully have written a thesis and a research paper as a first author for designing of a small wind
turbine at low wind speeds. A little more contribution to it will make it a practical application.

As recently reported, the Japanese government also wants to have the capacity to produce 10 million
kilowatts of wind power by fiscal 2030, which is great admiration for me to place Japan as a first priority
for pursuing graduate education.

All these reasons put together to make Japan an ideal place for me to do my Graduate education. I
think in this era of global and technological changes where boundaries are
insufficient, and the greatest challenge tomorrow holds for us is to manage
continuity of change. I am finding a bright career to satiate my curiosity and to
fulfill my ambitions.

What kinds of things do you think you can contribute to Japan and your home country through your
experience of studying in Japan?

Pakistan- Japan mostly rely on fossil fuels like coal, gas, and oil but are promised to have an investment
in renewable energy and sustainable development. As they continue working on that.

According to the latest figures it has been estimated that Pakistan has the potential to generate the
energy of 340 GW from the wind. On the other hand, Japan has the potential for 144 GW for
onshore wind and 608 GW of offshore wind capacity. Therefore both countries have high capability to
rely on sustainable energies. As large electricity monopolies of both countries have not much interest in
the renewable energies due to the expensive rate of electricity, but there are many possibilities to
increase the rate of renewable energies at low cost, and this research will make a sufficient contribution
towards it.

A study on this research area will be beneficial for the overall progression of this technology towards
large scale deployment in both countries. After completion of my master’s studies, I hope to be able to
take part in maximizing my country’s research technology in such fields to benefit its economy and
enhance the living standards of my compatriots.
Concluding it, with high hopes I would dedicate my best during the study period at Japan.

world is investing more and more in renewable energies, due to that the deployment of renewable
energies increasing day by day. Thus, results in sustainable development in future for a longer period.
