highlighted the genuine politi-

General  Yousef  bin  Ahmed
al-Othaimeen,  voicing  soli-
darity  that  was  shared  by
other  members.
In  two  previous  back-
to-back  summits  on  Friday,
Gulf  and  Arab  allies  simi-
larly  threw their  support

ISLAMABAD  (APP):  Capi-
tal  Development  Authority
(CDA) has  finally  paved  the
way to launch developmental
work in various sectors which
are pending since decades.
In the past due to miss-
ing priorities, sector develop-
ment  remained  the  most  ig-
nored  area  among  the  tasks
assigned to the authority.
Recognizing  the  impor-
tance of matter and cater grow-
ing housing needs, incumbent
management of the authority
took  practical  steps  to  start
development  activities in  the
sectors.
As  a  result  of  effective
planning  of present  manage-
ment,  CDA-DWP, in  its  44th
meeting  has  principally  ap-
proved PC-Is  of  three  (03)
stalled sectors including E-12,
I-15 & I-14 in addition to the
approval  of extension  in  ex-
ecution period of development
work at Park Enclave. Further-
more,  shifting  /  erection of
pedestrian bridges at different
places  in the  city was  also
approved during the meeting.
Sector E-12, was opened
around four (04) decades ago
but the  development in  the
sector could not be launched.
Furthermore, with the passage
of time possession and other
allied issues also surfaced but
no attention was given to re-
solve these issues resultantly
the  sector  remained  stalled
even after four (04) decades.
However, the present manage-
ment acting upon an effective
strategy not only vacated the
adverse  possession  from  the
acquired  land  but  also com-

moval  of  demolished  struc-
tures / building material lay-
ing  on the  right  of  Kashmir
Highway  G-12,  Capital  De-
velopment Authority  (CDA)
has  cleared the  debris  from
the area.

by the  CDA,  ICT Adminis-
tration, Environment Wing of
MCI and other concerned for-
mations. Machinery of MPO
was  utilized  to shift  the  de-

was made in the past to launch
development work in the sec-
tor  which was specifically
opened  to facilitate  low  in-
come  citizens. Present  man-
agement of the authority, listed
the  development of sector I-
15 among its top priorities and
within  short  period  removed
all obstacles hindering the de-
velopment work in the sector.
In this  co ntex t, a PC-I
amounting to Rs. 5656.24 mil-
lion was prepared which was
also discussed in 44th meeting
of CDA-DWP and was prin-
cipally approved. Waiver from
ECNEC may be sought as ear-
lier this project had been sub-
mitted to ECNEC.
Sector I-14  remain ed
stalled  for  two  (02)  decades
as  partial  development  was
carried out but many facilities
were  missing  due  to which

ISLAMABAD  (APP):  The
Indus  River System  Author-
ity (IRSA) Saturday released
216,100  cusecs  water  from
various  rim  stations  with  in-
flow of 224,400 cusecs.
According to the data re-
leased by IRSA, water level in
the  Indus  River  at  Tarbela
Dam was 1406.81 feet, which
was 20.81 feet higher than its
dead level of 1,386 feet.
Water inflow in the dam
was recorded as 76,900 cusecs
while  outflo w  as 80,000
cusecs. The water level in the
Jhelum River at Mangla Dam
was 1150.05 feet,  which was

for completion of development
work in the Park Enclave.
In order to  resolve road
crossing  issues  in  the  city, a
project  of  shifting  /  erection
of pedestrian bridges at differ-
ent places were envisaged dur-
ing the last month. After com-
pleting  codel  formalities  the
project  was  placed before
CDA-DWP for approval
which  was  subsequently  ap-
proved  by  the  development
working party.  Under  this
project,  a  pedestrian  bridge
would be constructed at Faisal
Avenue G-7 / G-8, Jinnah Av-
enue  G-9  /  F-9  (opposite
mehran gate of F-9 Park) and
at Kashmir Highway near
weekly bazaar.

Baluchistan government. He said
that the large number of members
of provincial assembly are not sat-
isfied with the performance of
present government. He said that
they expect to remove Chief Min-
ister after Eid with democratic pro-
cess. He told media that the
Baluchistan Government is taking
reprisal action against the opposi-
tion. At present, most of the mem-
bers of the Assembly are not sat-
isfied with the Government. He
said that all of our members are in
close contacts.
He said that they expected to
remove the Government by Eid.
But now it is our endeavors that
they celebrate their Eid well. He
said they would not overwhelm
after the Eid, but change the Gov-
ernment using their democratic
right, in the democratic manner.
He also mentioned that they will
remove the Government according
to the rules of the assembly. He
said that they had enough num-

The  recent  conviction of  a
pharmaceutical  company’s
chairman in the United States
has created a ray of hope that
unbridled medicine manufac-
turing companies will be held
accountable  for  what  many
critics call fraudulent and de-
ceptive sale practices aimed at
forcing consumers to buy medi-
cines unnecessarily. Such con-
viction, if  upheld by high
courts, could go a long way in
deterring drug-manufacturing
companies from using corrupt
practices in a mad race to sell
their wares. It could also cre-
ate a situation where the over-
all health system could be re-
formed to purge it of unethi-
cal methods.
According  to  media  re-
ports,  John Kapoor,  the  76-
year  old  former  chairman  of
Insys  Therapeutics,  accused
of paying doctors millions of
dollars  in bribes  to  prescribe
opiods,  was  found  guilty of
racketeering conspiracy. Four
other employees of the com-
pany were  also convicted.
Prosecutors told the jury that
the  chairman  and  the  others
were accused of bribing doc-
tors  across the  US  to  boost
sales of Subsys and mislead-
ing insurers to have payment
approved for the drug, which
is meant for cancer patients in
severe  pain  and can  cost  as
much as $19,000 a month. It
was further  revealed that  the
bribes were  paid in  the form
of fees for sham speaking en-
gagements that were billed as
educational opportunities for
other doctors.
According to  health ex-
perts, opioid overdose claimed
nearly 400,000 lives in the US
between 1999 and 2017. It is

true that India and Pakistan
had established a  tradition
in the past of offering con-

spective  general  elections,

talks  which the  other  side
gladly accep ted . Neith er
country wanted a stand-off
or confrontation. However,
it should have been obvious
by 2016, if not earlier, that
Narendra  Modi was  out  to
break tradition in domestic
as well as foreign policies.
Foreign secretary talks
were  cancelled in 2014  on
the  pretext  that  Pakistan’s
high commissioner had in-
vited a  Hurriyat  leader  for
talks.  This  was but  par  for
the  course.  Former presi-
dent Pervez Musharraf met
Hurriyat  leaders at  the  Pa-
kistan high commissioner’s
residence in New  Delhi on
the eve of the Agra summit
in July 2001.  This was  not
a  rare  event. He  is  known

A Faustian bargain

The Congress Party has
remained committed to secu-
larism. In  the  first  three  de-
cades of independence, there
was little  credible opposition
to the Congress – and by im-
plication there was little dan-
ger to secularism as a matter
of  state  policy. The  situation
took a turn for the worse with
the rise of the BJP. As Ency-
clopedia Britannica puts it, the
BJP’s  roots  can be  traced  to
the  Rashtriya  Swayamsevak
Sangh (RSS), or the National
Volunteers Corps, and its po-
litical arm the Bharatiya Jana
Sangh (BJS) or Indian People’s
Association.  The  BJS  was
wedded to  rebuilding  India
into a strong, unified state fash-
ioned on Hin du values or
Hindutva. Formally set up in
1980,  the  BJP  inherited  the
BJS’s mission.
For the BJP, the defining
moment came  in 1989  when
its  presid ent  LK Advani
spearheaded a  nationwide
march  to  pull  down  the  his-
toric  Babri  Masjid at
Ayodhya, in India’s largest and
politically most important
state  of  Uttar  Pradesh and
build a temple in its place. For
secular India, the event turned
out to be the  thin end of the
wedge.
The campaign galvanized
the religious sentiments of the
majority  Hindu community
and culminated in the demoli-
tion of the mosque in Decem-
ber 1992.
That fateful event has had
a  three-fold  significance  for

Among them, about 34 million
people used opioids and about
19 million used opiates. There
were an estimated 27 million
people  who suffered from
opioid use disorders in 2016.
The  majority of  people  de-
pendent on opioids used illic-
itly cultivated  and  manufac-
tured heroin, but an increasing
proportion  used  prescription
opioids.  Roughly 450,000
people died as a result of drug
use in 2015. Of those  deaths,
about  160,000  were  directly
associated with drug use disor-
ders  and  about 118,000 with
opioid use disorders. Overdose
deaths contribute to roughly a
third and  a half of all  drug-re-
lated deaths, which are attribut-
able in most cases to opioids.

This  is  part  of  India’s
Indian politics  and society.
One, it provided a perfect plat-
form for the rise of the BJP. In
the  ensuing  1996 parliamen-
tary electio ns,  the  BJ P
emerged as the single largest
party and formed its first gov-
ernment  under  Atal  Bihari
Vajpayee. Two, it set the stage
for Hindutva to replace secu-
larism as the dominant ethos
of the  Indian  polity. To date
the  building  of  a  temple  in
Ayodhya, and all that it signi-
fies, remains the kernel of the
BJP’s  politics.  The  party’s
2019 election  manifesto  reit-
erated that promise. Three, it
would usher in the reversal of
the  fortunes  of  the  hitherto
dom inant  Congress Party,
which championed secularism.
In  2014,  those  trends com-
bined to  bring about  the  re-
sounding electoral victory of
the BJP under the steward-
ship of Naraendra Modi, the
man  widely  seen  to  be  be-
hin d the  2002 carnage of
Muslims in the Gujarat com-
munal  riots,  and the  worst
ever defeat of the Congress.
Five years later, as Hindutva
wen t fr om s tren gth to
strength, the  electorate  has
handed an even heavier man-
date  to the  BJP.
National elections are an
index of the popular will and a
pointer to the  direction in
which a polity is moving. By
overwhelmingly reposin g
their trust  in the BJP, the In-
dian electorate has sent out the
message that it’s prepared to
consign secularism to the
dustbin and embrace  Hindu
responsible for this overuse of
medicines,  especially  that  of
opioids.  They  run  rambunc-
tious marketing campaigns and
even  their marketing  budget
exceeds that of the R&D bud-
get. According to a report by
Transparency  International,
“The marketing of medicines
constitutes a large part of phar-
maceutical company expendi-
ture. Nine out of the ten larg-
est pharmaceutical companies
spent more on marketing than
on R&D  in 2013. In the
United States alone the phar-
maceutical industry spends an
estimated $42 billion on pro-
motional activities that target
doctors  annually,  which is
equal to US$61,000  per doc-
tor on average.”
The  anti-corruptio n
watchdog further notes,
“Multiple  marketing  corrup-
tion scandals have made head-
lines in the last five years. For
example, in 2011 Johnson &
Johnson (J&J)  paid $70  mil-
lion to  settle claims  it bribed
doctors in Greece, Poland and
Romania to prescribe its medi-
cines.  The  2014  Access  to
Medicine Index Report found
that 18 of the 20 largest phar-
maceutical  companies  have
been found guilty of unethical
marketing  practices,  despite
their commitment to adhere to
codes of conduct and ethical
marketing.” An  analysis  by
Transparency International in
February 2016 showed that of
all companies subject to an on-
going and unresolved corrup-
tion  related  investigation  by
US authorities, just under ten
percent  were  biotechs  and
pharmaceuticals, and of these
at  least  six cases  related  to
sales and marketing practices.
“There are several methods for
proclaimed policy of  ‘iso-
lating’ Pakistan. It surely
cannot parley with Pakistan

long because  of the  power
of the deutsche mark, refus-
ing to have  relations  with
any country that  had links
with East  Germany.
India enjoys no such
clout. Besides, Pakistan has
won new friends  like  Rus-
sia.
It has a standing in the
Mid dle East, Europe and
elsewhere. Donald Tru mp
notwithstand ing, the US
needs it badly, if it  is to
stage a dignified retreat from
Afghanistan.  India’s  m as-
sive  efforts in Afghanistan
will not alter the facts of ge-
ography, history and the
com pulsions of politics.
And there  is  the  rising  su-
perpower China, whom In-
dia courts.
If  the  policy of  isola-
tion is doomed to failure, ex-
pectation of  a  dialo gue  is
unreal. What will India and
Pakistan talk about?  There
is no common ground on the
core  issue  of Kashmir.  It
was  fin ally established in
2005-2007 by Musharraf
and former  prime  minister
Manmohan Singh in the re-
a list ic inn ovat ive fo ur -
po in t fo rm ula — bu t
nationalism.
An  alternative  narrative
has set down the outcome of
the 2019 elections to the Con-
gress being a prisoner of dy-
nastic  politics. The  essential
argument is that industrializa-
tion and economic growth has
brought  in  its  train an  enor-
mous urban middle  class for
which upward social mobility
and meritocracy are prime vir-
tues. Modi and Rahul Gandhi
represent the two ends of the
social  spectrum.  The  former
has  risen to  the  top  by  the
sweat  of his  brow, while  the
latter owes his status to being
a  scion of  the  nation’s  erst-
while  ruling  family.  It  goes
without saying that Modi, and
not Rahul Gandhi, is the logi-
cal choice of a changing India.
Such an argument is a red
herring. Despite all its demer-
its, dynastic politics is not the
difference  between  the  Con-
gress and the BJP.
 It would have been had
the BJP thrown up a progres-
sive  leadership,  which es-
chewed communal  politics
and sought  to preserve  the
essential  secular  credentials
of a remarkably multiethnic
India.  Instead,  the BJP  is
riding  the  crest  of  popular-
ity on the  back  of  a  leader
who is a picture perfect per-
sonification  of  its Hindutva
narrative.
On the economic policy,
there  is  not  much  to  choose
between the Congress and the
BJP. Both parties are wedded
to a liberal economy.
It was the Congress gov-

was  estimated that  the  US
pharmaceutical  industry
spent US$20.4 billion on phar-
maceutical industry.”
In countries like the US,
the  regulators are  still  strong
despite  Trump’s  efforts  to
make  them  irrelevant  but  in
developing countries like Paki-
stan the regulators themselves
seem to be involved in encour-
aging  the  malpractices  of the
pharma industry. It is an open
secret  that  pharma  firms  in
Pakistan pay  heavy bribes  to
doctors  for prescribing medi-
cines and the regulator or the
department concerned tends to
turn a blind eye. Even children
are not spared from the unnec-
essary  prescription  of antibi-
otics.  It is  very  common  for
the medical representatives of
such companies to offer doc-
tors  carpets,  air conditioners

cious bunch,  but  one  that
did not  point out any de-

It  was  the  same  story
in Pakistan sung  by critics
of Musharraf ’s  dom estic
policies  and by the  BJP  in
India.  At  a  great  m oment,
small  m in ds  operated vi-
ciously to destroy a historic
achievem ent.  Imagine  the
scene  in South Asia  today
if it had succeeded.
However, Kashmir  is
not the  sole issue  between
the two countries. There are
th e jo in t st at em en ts o f
1987 and 2001  which list
them. Alas, there is no pros-
pect of a dialogue on these
either,  although com mon
ground was achieved on Sir
Creek,  Wullar  barrage  and
Siachen. Other  matters are
als o ve ry su scept ible to
settlem ent. That is what
Modi and his adviser do not
want.
‘All or nothing’ is their
policy.  Their demands  are:

economy. In many ways, the
economic  policies  of  Modi
have  been  a  continuation  of
those  of his predecessor,
Manmohan Singh. Nor did the
Indian  economy fare  much
better under Modi. During the
BJP’s  tenure  (2009-14),  the
economy grew on average 7.5
percent,  while  the  average
growth  rate  recorded  during
the Congress’ last term (2009-
13) was  7.4 percent.  In  fact,
the economy sputtered in the
last two years of the BJP gov-
ernment, which cast its pall on
job generation. Thus the BJP’s
marvello us victory is  not
undergirded by economic per-
formance either.
What’s happening in In-
dia is by no means exclusive
to it;  it reflects a  bigger phe-
nomenon obtaining in differ-
ent parts of the globe.
The contemporary
world is characterized by two
conflicting phenomena. On the
one  hand is  globalization,
which  in  a  nutshell  seeks  to
create  a global  culture based
on North American-West Eu-
ropean values, such as liberal
dem ocracy,  free m arket
economy and multilateral eco-
nomic integration regardless of
creed or ethnicity.
The other phenomenon,
which in part  is  a  reaction
against  globalization,  entails
assertion of particular identi-
ties, such as religion, sect, race
and language.

Pakistan’s  entry  into  the
21st century.

have  been  providing  this
information  for  years.  And
before  the  internet  came
along, scientific  almanacs
could  be  consulted  for  this
data.
But even now, our cler-
ics  are dragging  their  feet
over  accepting  projections
of  the  moon’s  position  in
their  determination  to  drag
Pakistan  back  to  the  medi-
aeval ages. Never mind that
the  Aztecs,  Egyptians  and
other  ancient  civilisations
had  worked  out  this  data
thousands of  years  ago.
Even  Saudi Arabia, hardly
a  pioneer  in  science,  relies
on  forecasts  to  determine
the  dates  of  various  reli-
gious  holidays.
Ever since I can remem-
ber,  there  has  always  been
a  controversy  over  the  day
Eid is to  be  celebrated.  Of-
ten, the  clerics of the  Ruet-
i-Hilal  Committee (once
dubbed  ‘moon-men’  by  an
irreverent journalist)
claimed  to have  spotted  the
new  moon  from  the  top  of
Habib Bank Plaza  in
Karachi.  But  some  village
maulvi  in  KP would  pro-
claim  that  there had  been
no  sighting,  and  hence  Eid
could not  be  celebrated  the
following  day.
The  resulting  confu-
sion  thus  resulted in the
country  divided  over  when
Islam’s most important holi-
day  is  observed.  One  rea-
son our  clerics  refuse to
follow the  Saudi example  is
that the whole exercise
gives  them  a  brief  moment
in  the  media  spotlight.  Give
up  even  a  tiny  bit  of  rel-
evance,  they  probably  rea-
son,  and  soon  the  state  will
usurp  other  powers. And
then  where would  we be?
Hopefully  in  the  21 st cen-
tury….
But  this isn’t just
about  Eid. Ever  since Paki-
stan  came  into  being, rea-
son  and  rational  thought
have  struggled  against  the
forces  of  darkness  and  ig-
norance.  Gen  Zia  won  this
battle  during  his  decade  in
power  when  he  ‘Islamised’
education, and  cleansed  it
of virtually  all modern  con-
tent.
In a  recent  podcast,
Junaid  Akram  spotlighted
the  issue  by  asking  where
the  Pakistani  CEOs  were
when  Indians  were  running
some  of America’s  tech  gi-
ants like Microsoft and
Google. He answers  the
question  by  showing  us  a
copy of a textbook on com-
puters  issued  by  the  Sindh
Textbook  Board  that  is  still
part  of  the  curriculum.
Akram had been
taught  from  the  same  book
back in 1998,  and  observes
that  20  years  later, it  was
still  teaching  students  of
Class  9  Windows  98  and
DOS, the  prehistoric  oper-
ating  system  that  ran  the
early  desktop  computers.
But  as  he  points  out,  kids
in  Class  9  are  very  tech-

Europe.  In  its  softer  forms,
identity politics  stands  for

identity  politics goes  berserk
and  fanatically  seeks  power
for a community by means fair
or foul, peaceful or sanguinary.
And if that community, as in
case of Hindus in India, already
happens  to  be  in  a  pre-emi-
nent position, it may seek to-
tal  dom in atio n, even if it
means annihilating the weaker
identity. That said,  few other
societies  match  the  religious
diversity of  India.  So  being
swept by Hindutva can prove
to  be  a  kiss  of  death  for  the
world’s largest democracy.

ing  for  them.
And  clearly, young
men  and  women  equipped
with  this  kind  of  informa-
tion  can  hardly  compete
with  graduates  educated  in
the  latest  developments  in
computer science. The very
fact  that  the  Sindh  govern-
ment  has  continued  to  ap-
prove  and  print  the  same
textbook  for  over  20  years
is  a  scandal  in  itself.
Pervez  Hoodbhoy,
among  others, has high-
lighted  the  textbook  scam
over the years. It is an open
secret  that  so-called  ‘pro-
fessors’  are  favoured  with
contracts to write  text-
books,  and  shady  publish-
ers  get  lucrative  deals  to
print millions of  copies.
Kickbacks  to  senior  offi-
cials  in  the  education  de-
partment  would  appear to
underpin  this  corrupt  sys-
tem. Apart from the fact that
mostly, these  books are
cut-and-paste  jobs, they
are poorly printed on cheap
paper. Students  have no
option  but  to  buy  them.
According  to  reports,
the Punjab  government
under Shahbaz  Sharif did  a
lot  to  change  this  system
and  modernise  it.  Unfortu-
nately, the  importance  of
this reform has  escaped the
PPP government  in  Sindh.
The PTI  government
has  expressed  its  ambition
to unify  the  curricula  of
state educational  institu-
tions  across  the  country.
But  given  the  fact  that  sec-
ondary  education  is  a  pro-
vincial  subject, the-----re
will  be  considerable  resis-
tance  fr om po-l-itic-ians
and burea-u-crats who
benefit  fr-om  the  pre-sent
system.  Now,  with  the  18th
Amend-ment, it is even
more  difficult  to  centralise
the  school  curriculum.
Then,  of  course,  there
is the  fierce  pushback from
the  entire  spectrum  of  our
clergy to consider. Our cler-
ics  are  well  aware of  the
consequences  of  a  popu-
lation  educated  in  modern
ideas. How  many  would
follow the teachings  of
those  who  preach  little  of
Islam’s true  values, sticking
instead to  a  list of  do’s and
don’ts?
So  for  our  clergy,  rea-
son  and  rational  thought
are  existential  threats  to
their  power  and  prestige.
Never mind that by control-
ling the  curricula  in schools
and  madressahs,  they  are
holding  back the whole
country. By  conflating  in-
tellectual  backwardness
with  religious  imperative,
they  have  rationalised  the
widespread  ignorance that
now defines our educa-
tional  system.
Given  the  problems  it
faces in  its first  year in
power,  it  would  be  surpris-
ing  if  the  PTI  government
would  be  willing  to  invest
much political  capital  in
pushing  educational  re-
forms. But  until  this  hap-
pens,  the  only  meaningful
education  will  be  provided
at  our fe w good  private

to Rs 14.325 billions.  There-
fore, matter was referred to the
provincial cabinet. On the rec-

ant for  recommendation of
technology  and financial  re-
view.  Now,  the  power com-
panies have requested that due

(WB) and Asian Development
Bank (ADB) would also pro-
vide loans to Pakistan at low
mark-up, adding that both the
banks  were expected  to  give
two to three billion US dollars
which would further improve
economy.
When Pakistan Tehreek-
e-Insaf (PTI) came to power,
he  continued,  the  country’s
economic  situation  was  not
encouraging  and promising
that  left  no other option  for
the  PTI  government  but  to
take tough decisions  such as
increase in gas and electricity
tariffs.
The  recent  programme
with the IMF, he added, was
also one of the difficult deci-
sions taken to steer the coun-
try out of economic quagmire.
Dr Abdul Hafeez Sheikh
mentioned that long-term poli-
cies were also being put in or-
der to  stabilise Pakistan  eco-
nomically,  asserting that
today’s difficult time and de-
cisions  would  bring  in  pros-
perity for people  and
country’s progress in future.
Despite all odds, he said
that the incumbent government
had narrowed down the trade
deficit; decreased pressure on
foreign exchange reserves; im-
proved governance and initi-
ated Ehsas Programme  to
help  the  poor  segments  of
society. A huge  grant  of Rs
216  billion was  being  ear-
marked to give  subsidy to
the  electricity consumers,
using less than 300 units per
month, he added.

QUETTA: A scam of corrup-
tion of millions of rupees was
unearthed  in  the  Sandeman
Provincial  Headquarter Hos-
pital  Quetta  when  the  Medi-
cal  Su pp ly Dep artm en t
(MSD) awarded a contract of
sterilizers  to  a  NAB-stricken
company.
The  contract  of  supply
and installation of the steriliz-
ers  had been  awarded to  the
Health Tech company in 2016.
The work had been left incom-
plete.

nounced  ‘Eid Gift’ for  the
nurses  with  increase  in  their
salaries.

tended his  bail  till  May  22
when his counsel pointed out
that  the  NAB  had  not  given
them reasons for his arrest and
the  documents showing  ap-
proval of the inquiries by the
competent  authority.

Two more
children die in
Tharparkar
THARPARKAR  (INP):  Two
more children died of malnu-
trition and epidemics in
Tharparkar in 24 hours, health
department said on Saturday.
According to details, two
children including a newborn
and  11-day-old child  died  at
Civil Hospital Mithi. The lat-
est deaths have taken the death
toll in Tharparkar in May to 79
and 355 during the current year.
According to the health depart-
ment, every year 1,500 children
die due to malnutrition, infections
and lack of proper medical fa-
cilities in the remote region.

jected the rise in prices of the

Good Truck  Owners,  Jaffar

ucts is not acceptable.
