Program Description: 2 - Day Foundation Day & Grand Alumni Homecoming Activity
provides a suitable avenue for the school to rekindle its
relationship with the graduates of Sawata National High School
since its founding in 1972. Further, this activity will promote
camaraderie between the old generation of graduates to the
new and graduating ones. Also, this is a way for the school to
gather more stakeholders that can help sustain the projects
and finance its endeavors in creating a more conducive
environment with adequate facilities for its learners.

Rationale:
The 2 - Day Foundation Day & Grand Alumni Homecoming Activity provides a suitable
avenue for the school to rekindle its relationship with the graduates of Sawata National
High School since its founding in 1972. Further, this activity will promote camaraderie
between the old generation of graduates to the new and graduating ones. Also, this is a
way for the school to gather more stakeholders that can help sustain the projects and
finance its endeavors in creating a more conducive environment with adequate facilities
for its learners.
In this 2 – day event, a foundation day program will be conducted during the first day
highlighting the rich cultural heritage of San Isidro with its four different tribes. In addition,
a grand alumni homecoming program is set to be conducted the following to address the
need to establish once again the connection between the graduates and its alma mater.
Methodology:
The organizing committee will coordinate with the PTA for the Foundation Day program
to address concerns regarding the data needed in presenting the history of the school
and who are its founding members. Also, a meeting with the various tribal leaders will be
conducted in order to formally request assistance in appropriately representing their tribe
without malice coming from the organizers. Alumni from the different batches will be
contacted through social media and personal contacts. Graduating students will be
tapped to help organize and work behind the scenes for this 2 – day event. Security from
the PNP and Barangay Tanods will be formally solicited through a letter since there will
be a cultural night, the highlight of the entire activity. Solicitations in cash and in kind for
the snacks and other expenditures outside the bounds of the PTA budget will be sought
through formal correspondence.
