Human Behavior in Organization is one of reflection on how we manage our individual’s view and foundations
in order to be see and understand the value of every member of the organization. It is essential tool for
managing the effectiveness of the teamwork and decision making. It helps to understand and predict the
human value and the oneness of member of the organization. It is about how we handle workplace and cope
up with the trials with in the team and see the life profile of everyone. The members need to deliver their
message about behaviour and attitude of group members It is significant element of management and work
ethics in order to hit the goals. It is about financial and intellectual strength and weakness of members in
building the organization.

This subject became a reflection in how an organization should work and value by the humans how became
the mind and heart of it. In the world we work with we different in manner, ethics, values, and attitudes it is
the biggest challenge we are facing. The Perception and human manners should be align in order to hit the
objectives. In our work we should maintain our value and goals and manner with high credentials benefitting
the organization.

It is not about difference it is the unity with in us. The eyes , heart and mind should be working wisely in order
to create valuable organization we set for our world. Our eye should be a viewer of every situation and heat
to see the value of it. And mind to balance manage our considerations for organizations. Every parts of our
body work together in order to make our life healthy and lively so like our body , we member should work
together in order set our common goals in life and community.

WHAT IS “ATTITUDES”?
An attitude is a set of beliefs that we hold in relation to an attitude object, where an attitude object is a
person, thing, event or issue. Attitudes can be positive or negative, or we can simply have opinions about issues
without any strong emotional commitment.

“Attitude is a little thing that makes a big difference”

Attitudes are primarily our response to people, places, things, or events in life. It can be referred to as
a person's viewpoint, mindset, beliefs, etc. Our attitude towards people, places, things, or situations determines
the choices that we make.

THREE COMPONENTS OF ATTITUDES

1. Cognitive component- Basically, the cognitive component is capable of being reduced to empirical
factual knowledge.
2. Emotional component- It is based on the feelings.
3. Behavioral Component.- It replicates and reflects our behavior.

TYPES OF ATTITUDES

1. Positive Attitude

Confidence, Optimism, Sincerity, Reliability


Cheerfulness,Happiness, Sense of
responsibility, Flexibility, Determination,
Tolerance, Willingness to adapt, Humility,
Diligence

The Persons, who will be possessing positive behavior, will explore good things in others and will not go after
negativity. This type of attitude is comprised of the following things;
 The people with positive attitude move forward with confidence and optimism.
 They remain happy and cheerful.
 Their dealings with others is comprised of Sincerity.
 They are blessed with sense of responsibility
 They remain flexible in their approach.
 They remain determined in their tasks.
 They are the most Reliable persons.
 Tolerance is another hallmark of their personality.
 On account of their flexibility, they remain Willing to adapt according to the new challenges and situations.
 They are very modest and keep themselves in low profile, even though they are not low profiled.
 Such persons exercise great
 degree of diligence.

2. Negative Attitude

Anger, Hatred, Pessimism, Frustration,


Doubt, Resentment, Jealousy, Inferiority

Such type of persons will always be searching weaker elements of others personality and are not
inclined towards positive elements. Their focus remain on bad people and avoids good People. Also, they are
likely to complain about changes, rather than adapting to the changing environment. Also, they might
blame their failure on others

3.Neutral Attitude

Indifference, Detachment, Complacence,


Feeling of being disconnected, Unemotional

Such types of persons are very balanced in their approach. They remain indifferent to problems and
wait for others intervention regarding resolutions. Such type of persons remains self-satisfied and complacent.
Their attitude is composed of indifference and detachment. An other striking element of their attitude is serene
and unemotional type of posture which makes them very balanced.

Attitude. For that, one would need to


change the way he/she thinks, feels, or
behaves. However, changing the way one
feels is not that easy. The affective
component of attitude is powerful and
difficult to control.

The Main Component of Attitudes


1. Affective –The affective component of
an attitude refers to the emotional or feeling
segment

2. Behavioural- The behavioural


component of an attitude refers to the
intention to behave in a certain way toward
someone or something

3. Cognitive- The cognitive component of


an attitude refers to the opinion or belief
segment of an attitude.

Values help to guide our behavior. Attitudes are the


response that is a result of our values. Values decide
what we think as for right, wrong, good, or unjust.
Attitudes are our likes and dislike towards
things, people, and objects.

?
Ethics -Ethics is a way of understanding and examining what is “right” and what is “wrong”
Ethics defined as the science of the morality of human acts.
Ethos- which means characteristic way of acting mos / mores meaning “ tradition or custom”

FOUR VIEWS OF THE ETHICAL BEHAVIOUR

1. Moral View – does a decision or behaviour maintains the fundamental rights of all human
beings
2. Individualism View- does one’s decision or behaviour promotes one’s long term self- interest?
3. Justice View- does a decision or behaviour show fairness and impartiality?
4. Utilitarianism View- does a decision or behaviour does the greatest good for most people?

Four Branches of Ethics


1. Descriptive ethics (”how the world is”)
Factual investigation of moral standards.
Describes moral praxis (moral opinions, attitudes and
actions) up through history and today – historians,
sociologists, psychologists

2. Normative ethics (”how the world should be”) Systematic investigation of moral standards (norms and
values) with the purpose of clarifying how they are to be understood, justified, interpreted and applied on
moral issues – philosophers, theologicians.
3. Metaethics -The study of ethical terms, statements and judgements. Analysis of the language, concepts
and methods of resoning in ethics. It addresses the meaning of ethical terms such as right, duty, obligation,
justification, morality, responsibility.
4.Applied ethics - Applied ethics is a part of normative ethics that focus on particular fields “The
philosophical examination, from a moral standpoint, of particular issues in private and public life that are
matters of moral judgment” (Brenda Almond).
