Hilti India Pvt Ltd is leading supplier of high quality selected tools and fastening
system. Hilti is Switzerland based company. World wide they are in 120 countries for
providing construction support. In India they entered in 1997 with their high quality
products at their Head Office , Delhi. Now a days they have expanded their business in
most of the state of India. Ahmedabad is their head office in Gujarat region. Their other
offices in Gujarat are at Baroda, Surat, Ankaleshwar and saurastra.

Hilti’s products are mainly Positioning Equipments,Drilling and Dimolition

system , Powder Actuated Fastening system , Anchor Fastening system, Screw Fastening
system, Diamond Drilling and Cutting system and Firestop. This products are mainly use
in heavy construction projects e.g. Industrial Construction , Infrastructural Construction
etc.

Kutch is the district in which industrial development is going on now a days.

After devastated earthquake government has declared tax benefits in kutch region as a
Incentive scheme 2001 for economic development in Kutch district “. So lots of new
industries are entering in Kutch district for take this benefit. Also Kutch has Major port ,
Kandla as well as private port at Mundra are useful to industries for export-import.

Hilti wants to focus more in Kutch district as such a large no. of industries are
entering in district. Also ports are their major costumer on which they want to focus more
in future.

So , their main objective to provide me this project is to find out their potential in
Kutch district. I had to study the industries which were enter in Kutch also I had to give
more emphasis on Infrastructural Development like ports also I had to gave focus on
other construction base activities.
