The Higher the Education the Better

Many young people today are diminishing in school. Others who want a healthy well

paying job stay educated to get something satisfying out of it. Higher education will benefit us

and play a huge role in our lives. College plays a huge role in our lives because it’s a good way

to balance life by gaining knowledge and thinking and keeping a healthy life. If you go to college

and get a career most people would look at you differently like you have more power because

you are educated. When you study you grow knowledge and thinking which helps with stability.

The value of college is a superior future. All across the country students have different opinions

on education and if it is worth it or not. Going to college will increase many things in your life

like your paycheck, your happiness, and knowledge and thinking. College is honestly the best

path to someone's life.

College plays a helpful role in someone's life itś a way to earn big paychecks. Although,

there will be debts and loans in the way but once you are done with everything you'll be able to

pay back everything because of the amount of money you win. Itś a win, win. College has utility

because you have more opportunities in getting a job because you probably have a degree, such

as a PhD. Becton Loveless published information about college benefits. She clearly agrees with
Gonzalez 1

me. She says, ¨The benefits of a college education include career opportunities like better paying

and higher skilled jobs, but studies have shown that it also leads to overall happiness and

stability¨ (Loveless). Based on information from Education Corner it explains, ¨Better yet,

college graduates can go on to earn advanced degrees, which return even bigger payoffs. The

average holder of a bachelor's degree earns about $51,000 a year, Baum calculates. But those

who've gone on to earn MBAs, law degrees, or other professional degrees earn about $100,000 a

year¨ (Loveless). Itś basically saying that college graduates earn more than any other person

because they worked their asses off to get this kind of payment. This article is rich in evidence.

This piece of evidence has been told by every teacher. When Kim Clark said these things about

college benefit she is demonstrating that sheś seen these happen and itś very true. My teachers

earn more money than my uncles and aunts. People need education to think more clearly

academically. Education helps you grow stability, and itś helpful with your knowledge and

thinking.

The benefit of college is happier and healthy lives. A high education increases your body

to be smarter and active in certain ways. According to Doctor OZś page, people with a bachelorś

degree live 9 more years than someone who dropped out or who only finished high school. The

study was done by the Centers Diseases Control and it explains some healthy reasons, ¨For

example, a recent study shows that those who have a bachelor’s degree or higher live

about 9 years longer than those who don’t graduate from high school.¨(Cardillo). My

thesis explains why college is one big part of someone to stay healthy and this is one

huge reason. Lastly, college is a best way to be happy and to stay healthy in so many

reasons.

In addition, when one of your family member succeed by going off to college to become

something big other would want to be successful just like them. Itś important to be a good role

model for your kids. Every parent wants their kids to be successful and they can be an inspiration

to them. In the Book Of Isaias, the author Daniel Connolly briskly describes the importance of

college and what it did to him and his family. In this biography we learn a lot more about the

worth of college. Isaias is an undocumented student, who has good grades and studies hard for

his grades. He’s typically into politics. He faces many challenges. The main valuable source of

information a reader can take away from this book is the importance of college and what role it

would be in your life and others ahead of you. Daniel Connolly explains the backstory of his

parents. Daniel Connolly claims “Failure can echo for decades, but so can success” (Connolly 8).

This supports my thesis in many ways because Daniel Connolly had his grandpa. His grandpa

went to college and finished all of his years, that success echoed throughout Daniel’s life and

which helped him published his book. His grandfather was the reason he wanted to succeed.

There are many ways to show how college is beneficial not only through someone’s else success

but by rebuilding a new society or helping o

Some may argue that college isn't worth it because it’s easier to get a job then to wait for

years to earn a well paid job. However, Centura College gives five reasons why having a college

degree is best. It says you´ll make more money, more career opportunities, less work, and more

home time. In other words, Centura College explains, “According to the Bureau of Labor

Statistic, the median weekly earning in 2012 for those with a Bachelor’s Degree was $1,066.00.

Compare that to the the median weekly salary of someone with just a high school diploma,
Gonzalez 1

which is $652.00” (Theresa). This evidence supports my thesis because it talks about many

reasons how college can be helpful even though it does have to do with a lot of money. College

doesn’t only help career wise but it makes you stay active and makes you happy and healthier

too.

Though some people argue that college isn’t healthy because most college students don’t

have time to sleep or eat because theyŕe too busy studying or working. Nonetheless, HUFFPOST

explains that college graduates are less likely to do drugs and commit a crime than non

graduates.

Jamie Merisotis says, ¨Further, college graduates are nearly four times less likely than high

school graduates to smoke, and are significantly more likely to exercise, wear a seat belt,

maintain a healthy weight and regularly see a doctor¨ (Merisotis). In this case this is a good

reason why college is good for students. It helps them to stay out of trouble. At least one of us in

a family goes to college which is great because itś good being a role model for your future kids,

nephews, nieces. Most students go to college to be like their parent or aunt.

Though the value of college is high education it´s best for most families because their

children feel the need to be successful as them by going to college just like them. However,

everyone wants to be successful and someone has an inspiration to go to college and that person

can be yourself. My cousin named, Gustavo is 21 and heś the first one in the family to go to

college and also his brother named Jose. First of all, I never wanted to go to college because I

thought it was useless and a waste of my life but then as I grew up I saw that they've succeed

with so many things. I looked up to them that at some point I told myself I want to go to college
Gonzalez 1

just like them and be successful. Honestly I am so proud that they made me change my mind.

Furthermore, one families success can grow to another oneś life.

Going to college will play a huge role in our lives by giving us back job opportunities,

happy and healthier lives and growth in our economy by inspiring others close to you. Higher

education will benefit us by playing a role in our lives. It give us many great things like more job

opportunities, happy and healthier lives and economic growth and stability. Education is key to

success. My thesis is useful because students should understand that going to college is

important. Some students think college isn't worth it because it's expensive but it gives you a lot

of opportunities in the future.
