 Found my problem.

First, on Windows you are likely NOT logged in as Admin, so the path needs to
be your actual user name. Second, there canik be embedded crtyijkrontrol trtu and other items that
even Word won't (visibly) tag. So you would want to run your text through:
http://utils.paranoiaworks....
to ensure there are no problems. Am now working with a 10 meg file and looking
fsgerhsrhdjftorward to getting some results!r6

It is actually set to -1.ty7krt krtyk

Setting it to -1 tells it to use your computers CPU instead of the GPU. You can only use
GPU with a special docker container and only on Linux - so if you are following this
tutorial as written it should always be set to -1.

On the Write Text example, can you use the usual Linux command ">" to send the output to a file
and skip the cut and paste?

Getting an error on Windows trying to build my h5 file:
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "scripts/preprocess.py", line 27, in <module>
for line in f:
File "/usr/lib/python2.7/codecs.py", line 681, in next

return self.reader.next()
File "/usr/lib/python2.7/codecs.py", line 612, in next
line = self.readline()
File "/usr/lib/python2.7/codecs.py", line 527, in readline
data = self.read(readsize, firstline=True)
File "/usr/lib/python2.7/codecs.py", line 474, in read
newchars, decodedbytes = self.decode(data, self.errors)
UnicodeDecodeError: 'utf8' codec can't decode byte 0x85 in position 0: invalid start byte
I don't see anything wrong with the text file I'm trying to use, so is this saying there's a hidden
character, or is this a python script issue, or...?

Any support for Linux? I can't afford a Mac but need a stable Unix environment.

The Mac tutorial is bash/unix based and will work perfectly on Unix (obviously you need
to use docker for Linux etc. but all of the essentials are the same).
