Narrator: It was Christmas season. There was a man
named Richer. He was a hard worker bussinessman
but at the same time he was a miserable, cruel, and
stingy person who didn´t know what generosity
meant.
Some days before christmas Mr. Richer employees
were very happy thinking about what their boss will
give them for Cristmas.
-Rose: Christmas is coming. I want to prepare a great
dinner for my family. I think that Mr Richer will give us
a turkey.
-Mary: You are crazy! Don´t you remember that Mr
Richer didn´t give us anything last year?
-Rose: oh… you´re right. Let´s continue working , he
may appear and shout us.
Narrator: Meanwhile Mr Richer was working at this
office very angry because everybody is talking about
Christmas and he doesn´t like it
-Mr Cratchit: (Knock the door) Excuse me sir ,I need to
talk to you.
_Mr. Richer: What do you need? but tell me now. I’m
very busy!
- Mr. Cratchit: Sorry Sir. Well, I don´t like to complain
about anything but this time I think that you are the
only person who can help me.
- Mr. Richer: But tell me now ! I’m very busy!
_ Mr. Cratchit: My son is very sick and my salary is not
enough to buy his medicines. Please I need you
increase my salary
-Mr Richer: What are you telling me?
increase your salary? That is the enough money you
need to live. Get out!! Right Now!!
Narrador: At this moment Mr Richer´s girlfriend
arrives to his office to talk about something important
for them.
-Mr Richer: Hi my love. What a surprise!! What are you
here??
-Grace: Hi! I have something important to tell you. Sit
down
-Mr Richer: You worry me. What´s the matter?
-Grace: we must break up
-Mr Reacher: Why? I love you, honey!
-Grace: No, you only love money. You never have time
for me and for this reason I prefer to leave you
-Mr Reacher: No, Wait!!
-Grace: Sorry. I have to go.
-Mr Reacher: ( La sigue a Grace) you are the one who
loses .
Narrator: Then, Mr Richer goes out for a moment to
drink something and he meet an old friend
-Juan: hey!! How are you? What are you doing?
-Mr Richer: Very well, as always. And you bro, how are
things?
-Juan: Fine. I’m buying the christmas presents for my
family. By the way, You’re invited to my house for
Christmas Eve to have dinner with my family.
-Mr Richer: Christmas?? Bah!! Chirstmas is only a lie.
-Juan: Why do you think that?
-Mr Richer: Because Christmas is just an excuse not to
work. It´s just time to pay bills with money you don´t
have.
-Juan: What a shame that you think so! Christmas is the
time in which we are commemorating the birth of our
Savior. I will continue asking God to change your heart.
Well if you change your mind you’ll be welcome at
home .
-Mr Richer: Ok Bye my friend.
Narrator: Mr Richer doesn´t like to help people who
need money but he prefer to waste it.
-Mr Richer: ( Trow the money) ………..
-Poor child: Merry Christmas Sir!!!! Please Don´t you
have a coin for me? I´m starving.
-Mr Richer: I don´t have money, silly kid! Go out (Trow
the money and buy a cigarrette)
Narrador: Then, Mr Richer continues wasting his
money. Meanwhile two thieves were looking at him.
-Thief 1: Look at that man!!
-Thief 2: It seems he has a lot of money
-Thief 1: Let´s kidnap him.
-Thief 2: We can get some reward from him.
Narrator; Mr Richer continues walking while these
men are planning something bad ( some music during
the act)
-Thief 1: Don´t move
-Thief 2: Tie him!!
-Mr Richer: You don´t know who I am. You will pay for
this!!
-Thief 1: We know who you are!! (hit Mr Richer)
Narrator: The thieves took him to an uninhabited
house to hide him. They called to the first number
they found on the phone.
-Thief 1: Listen to me! Your friend is with me, If you
don´t give me one millon dollars, I will kill him.
Juan: OK!! I´ll try to get it.
Oh my God, I don’t know how to help Richer, You are
the only person who can help you. ( se arrodilla a orar)
Narrator: The kidnappers were very desesperated to
get Mr Richer’s money, they´re trying to get what
they want hitting him.
-Thief 1: If you want to go out you must give us your
account password
-Thief 2: Give us the password
-Mr Richer: No I´ll never give it
-Thief 1: Damned you!! Hit him!!
Narrador: While he is unconscious, the thieves take a
rest. Suddlenly a mysterious voice is heard by Mr
Richer.
-Voice: Richer….Richer… Wake up….
-Mr Reacher: Who is there. I can´t see anybody
-Voice: Look at yourself. it´s terrible where you are
now.
-Mr Richer: Who are you?
-Voice: You know who I´m. I´m your Savior. This is the
result of your bad actions
Remember, when one of your employees had a very
sick child, you didn´t help him.
A good woman loved you and you didn´t appreciate her
love. Money was more important for you.
The are many hungry children on the streets and you
are so miserable, you only think about yourself.
However, I´m always near you because I love you,
despite of your mistakes. Just, trust me, I´m your
Savior. A good choice will take you to a better life.
Narrator: At this moment Mr Richer thought carefully
about his bad actions and he regreted about them
starting to pray God.
Mr Richer: God, I know that this is a proof for me. I
think that you want me to be close to you. Give me a
new opportunity, but save me God!!!!
Narrator: we know that God is powerful, wise and
love us too much so he send an angel to save him
dressed like policeman.
Mr Richer was anxious and suddenly the policeman
appears
Policeman: I will save Richer
Policeman: I have come to rescue you. You are free!
Policeman: (al ladrón) you are arrested
Narrator: the thief neglected to be arrested and took
out a gun. But the policeman was faster than him and
shot the thief. Unfortunately, the thief went away.
Then Mr Richer left the house and met Juan
Mr Richer: Juan thanks, thanks, thanks, you are my
hero!
Juan: Oh! You are safe!
Mr Richer: you called policeman, didn´t you.
Juan: No, I was praying for you.
Mr Richer: Here is the policeman. Look at him.
Juan: There is nobody. You are crazy!
Mr Richer: Now I can understand. God listened to my
praying and saved me.
Juan: You know God never fails.
Narrator: Finally, Mr. Richer changed his mind about
life. He started to live having God as an important
person.
Mr. Richer: I will be a better person since today.
(Piensa en voz alta).
Narrator: Mr. Richer begins to do good actions.
Mr. Cratchit please come to my office I need to give
you something.
Mr Cratchit: Ok. Mr. Ritcher, I’ll go now. ( toca la
puerta ). Good morning Mr. Richer
Mr. Richer: Good morning. Please sit down. ( llena un
cheque y le entrega) . Take this money to buy
medicine for your son.
Mr. Cratchit: Oh! Mr. Richer, but It’s too much money.
Mr. Richer: Don’t worry. It’s your Christmas present. (
le da una palmadita). Please, tell all the employees of
the company that they can come to get their presents
before going home
Mr. Cratchit: Thanks Mr. Richer. God bless you! Ok. I
wiil tell them to come to your office. Merry Christmas
Sir
Mr Richer: Merry Christmas good man!
Narrator: Now, Mr. Richer calls Grace, his girlfriend.
Mr. Richer: Hi, Grace. I´d like to invite you to the best
restaurant in the city.
Grace: Richer? I don’t know.
Mr. Richer: Please. Accept my invitation.
Grace: It’s difficult for me to believe you.
Mr. Richer: Trust me. You will have the best man at
your side. I promise. Give me a new chance.
Grace: Ok. Pick me up at 8:00
Mr Richer: ( He speaks at himself) I’ll make her the
happiest woman in the world. Now, Children need my
help.
Narrator: Mr. Richer also wants to help poor people
Mr. Richer: Hi child! This toy is for you.
Poor Child: Is it mine?? Thanks Sir. You are so kind!
Mr. Richer: Take this money to your mom to buy food
for a delicious Christmas dinner.
Child: Money for food? Mom will be very happy.
Merry Christmas Sir!
Narrator: Then, Mr Richer goes to Juan’s house. ( Toca
el timbre)
Juan’s son: ( está jugando con un carrito) Daddy,
daddy the bell is ringing!
Juan: Richer! What a surprise! Merry Christmas my
dear friend. You have arrived on the right time.
Juan’s wife: We’re happy for having you with us. Your
seat is waiting for you!
Mr. Richer: Thank you for inviting me, but I’m not
alone. My future wife is with me. ( muy feliz le da un
beso en la frente)
Juan: Both of you are welcome. Let’s enjoy the meal!
Mr. Richer: (dirigiéndose al niño) Before eating I want
to give you something dear child!
Juan’s son: Thank you! (abre el regalo) It’s amazing!
Juan: Let’s thank God for everything.

For many people, Christmas is a time of sorrow. They
do not have the extra money to buy presents for their
children, family, and friends. Many people feel sad at
Christmas time when they think of their loved ones will
not be able to come home for various reasons.
The true meaning of Christmas is love. I invite you to
look at Christmas in a new way this year. This is the year
to invite Jesus into your heart. You will then have a
"Merry Christmas." The joy and peace you will receive
will last all year as you look to God for all your needs.
