Description of the product
9 workshops aiming to incorporate new tools
and strategies to accept physical differences
and one`s own body:
1.- Be beautiful, be you.
2.- Creating a portrait of my partner in the style of
Arcimboldo.
3.- Timeless beauty
4.- Animation movie based on Picasso.
5.- Mosaic on the Pietá Rondanini.
6.- Greek dress workshop.
7.- Artwork photoshop and Body Image
8.- Creating beauty with waste materials.
9.- Animation movie in the style of William

1 workshops on Classical Culture:
10.- Roman cooking workshop on Apicius
Use indicators
Student’s age: from 13 to 18 years
Academic subjects: Classics, Ethics, Philosophy,
Hstory of Art, Drawing, Desing, Computing, Arts.
Competences covered
Cultural awareness and expression:
-To give a critical point of view about beauty.
-To analyze the aesthetic characteristics of some artworks belonging to different artistic
periods.
-To analyze the impact of photoshop and the aesthetic surgery in moder cannons of beauty.
-To create a portrait with fruits, a mosaic on the Pietà Rondanini, two Greek dressess, a
composition with waste materials, two animation moovies and a Roman menu.
Linguistic competence:
-To express oneself correctly both orally and in writing using English.
-To understand and analyse different kinds of texts in English and Latin.
Digital competence:
-To create and share animation moovies.
Social and civic competences:
-To analyze the concept of beauty in order to realize that beauty is subjective.
-To incorporate new tools and strategies to accept physical differences and one`s own body.
-To strengthen the concepts of inclusion, equality and non-discrimination for aesthetic
reasons.
