Dear reader,

I’ve always been fascinated by police officers and

what they do. But over in the United States, there's been
incidents that involve police officers which show the good,
the bad, and the ugly. Although the media portrays officers
as they’re the enemy but in reality, they’re just doing their
jobs. Yes there may be some officers that have made the
Police Departments bad people but that’s just a small
percentage which they show in the media but the media
never show the good deed the officer do which is a mass
percentage of police work. But in my project, I'm going to
be talking about Body Worn cameras which can help an
officer put criminals behind bars or put themselves behind
bars if they have broken the rules. But Live PD doesn’t
capture everything they see

Repetend: These products are the recurring because body

cameras can be used for good and can incriminate people
even police officers. Crimes are proven and disproven
because of body cameras.

We’ve witnessed on the media that police officers are stepping over the line
and hurting people who fight back
Body cameras are difficult to work with but very helpful in situations.
Police officers are allowed to wear body cameras since they help with
providing evidence for court to convict a person. But the cons are privacy
concerns since police officers enter a house of a subject it shows
everything and since everything police officers record automatically
become public record anyone can view the video.
In this statistic it shows a before and after but it may not look like much but
it’s very important since before they recorded the use of force and
complaints before camera use and it was high but once they experimented
with the use of body cameras use of force and complaints lowered
significantly since both parties realized they’re being record and anything
can be used against them.

This video shows both parties are in the wrong. The Police officer gets
dispatched to a call and tries to do his job but the son of the parents get
aggravated and starts cussing at the officer but the officer as well is in the
wrong by yelling and cussing at the kid too then both parties get into a fist
fight. The video was used in court and both parties were charged.

Epilogue
In conclusion, writing this has changed my perspective not as much since
body cameras are helpful to everyone. I learned not everyone is above the
law. I like the multi genre project because it opened my eyes into how body
cameras work and how they help police officers also I got to choose my
own topic that interest me instead of something boring. I hope my audience
learn that everything is can incriminate themselves in whatever they do,
nowadays people have cell phones and by a press of a button and start
recording. I feel that I accomplished a task all by myself that wasn’t really
easy and it’s preparing me for college where I would have no help.
