Description of Artifact: Homebound Timesheet & Homebound Observation

Justification for proficient or distinguished rating within Domain & Component:

As an active member of the Greensburg Salem team, I attempt to play my part as a team
member across multiple settings. I have been fortunate enough to be asked to teach a
homebound student for the remainder of the 2018-2019 school year.

This placement is what will best help to support this particular student, and therefore I am
excited to play a part in helping her to reach her learning goals.

Before beginning the homebound placement, I observed the student in her typical classroom
setting. I was able to converse with her special education teacher and discuss what methods of
instruction work best for her and her specific learning needs.

Reflection on future growth within Domain & Component:

In the future I hope to become more distinguished in the area of school and district regulations.
While it may take many years, I eventually hope to become one of the teachers who new
teachers come to for guidance and feedback, and to always be a voice for my students.
