Job description for the respective positions:


1. System Engineer
➢ Job Description:
System engineers carry out a variety of tasks. Their jobs require a
combination of abilities, including system design and analysis as well
as communication, mathematical and business skills. They implement new
systems, correct software errors in existing systems and improve
performance through hardware upgrades.

➢ Roles & Responsibilities:

• Oversee the design, development and implementation of clients’


specific computer systems needs.
• Proficiency in security is becoming increasingly important. In the
wake of recent breaches, many large organizations are adding
additional and more complex layers of security to their systems.
• Understand how the different departments in an organization need to
function together. This requires collaboration and a natural adeptness
for intricate design.
• In many cases, designing specific pieces of software will be
necessary.

2. Desktop Support Engineer


➢ Job Description

Works across a broad range of technologies and liaises across multiple


areas of the business to support incidents, problems and requests.
Responsible for answering IT requests via phone, email, live chat or
instant message and explaining solutions in technical and nontechnical
terms.

➢ Roles & Responsibilities

• Build and install PCs, telephone systems, wireless networks and


peripheral devices (such as printers, scanners, mobile/smart phones)
related to desktop infrastructure, in accordance with department
standards
• Provides advice and guidance to colleagues regarding incidents
• Maintain installed PCs, networks, telephone systems and peripherals
with routine maintenance
• Identify, log and resolve technical problems with software
applications or network systems
• Identify potential changes and system improvements to present to
senior team leaders for consideration and implementation
• Ensure that work is carried out within agreed service levels and in
accordance with department guidelines
• Create, maintain, and distribute reports of progress to senior
leadership

3. Application Support Engineer

➢ Job Description

An Application Support Engineer is an IT professional who provides


technical support regarding a spectrum of software used within a
specific business sector. Due to this broad definition, the core
responsibilities of an Application Support Engineer vary depending on
the industry. Some Application Support Engineers are responsible for
database management, while others put more emphasis on the programming
end of an application. The specific focus is dependent on the needs of
the business.

➢ Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide support on critical Java applications for data importing,


results exporting, campaign workflow, and communication scheduling and
execution.
• Provide support on complex data-driven end-user web applications for
communication program definition, execution, and maintenance using
server-side scripting engines (ASP, .NET, JSP, ColdFusion).
• Support CCXML/VXML code for automated voice dialog execution.
• Participate in support functions including day-to-day project
support, working closely with Development, QA, Release Management,
Operations, and end users.
• Gather and analyze application logs and performance metrics and work
with Engineers to troubleshoot and debug application issues.
• Identify process improvements for support related functions and other
SDLC processes such as testing strategy.
• Identify and implement improvements to application logging,
reporting, and monitoring.
• Participate in the daily project scrums and triage meetings to
provide support to the project team.
• Participate in post-mortem discussions around software-related
production incidents and communicate about technical issues and
resolutions.
• Work with 3rd party vendors as needed on vendor-related support
requests\issues.
• Provide technical support for 24x7 SaaS environment.
4. Application Support Engineer
➢ Job Description

Technical support engineers typically are hired by companies to help


solve computer system problems. Engineers usually handle issues that
cannot be solved by the front line support techs. Their job typically
involves server and network configuration, rather than typical desktop
issues. Once a problem is resolved, a technical support engineer will
document the procedures so the issue can be quickly resolved in the
future.

➢ Roles & Responsibilities

• Provides answers to clients by identifying problems; researching


answers; guiding client through corrective steps.
• Improves client references by writing and maintaining documentation.
• Participates in development of client training programs by
identifying learning issues; recommending instructional language.
• Accommodates client disabilities by recommending devices and
techniques.
• Avoids legal challenges by monitoring compliance with service
agreements.
• Improves system performance by identifying problems; recommending
changes.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities;
maintaining personal networks.

5. IT Co-ordinator
➢ Job Description

An information technology (IT) coordinator is normally the backbone of


all computer-related technology within an organization or project. In
larger organizations, this coordinator may be assigned to individual
projects by an organization; in smaller companies, the IT coordinator
may work across multiple projects or departments. Their primary
responsibility is the maintenance of the company’s computer technology
assets, which support the various departments or projects within the
enterprise. They decide on which platforms the company or project
works, and they establish protocols for computer usage and security
(and ensure that all employees adhere to these rules). The IT
coordinator also sets up systems for updating software applications and
operating systems in use, as well as frequent redundant backups of
necessary development or procedural work.

➢ Roles & Responsibilities

• IT Coordinator is required to maintain various network hardware


components installed at the client’s end. These may include switches,
routers, video conferencing terminals, firewall, etc.
• IT Coordinator is also required to maintain the software applications
and programs installed on the systems.
• IT Coordinator needs to be there to provide technical support to the
users at all times.
• IT Coordinator needs to make sure that the users’ work is not
hampered due to any issue in the computer systems.
• IT Coordinator needs to upgrade the computer systems and network from
time to time as per the latest technology.
• IT Coordinator is required to troubleshoot any issue that arises in
the computer systems.
• IT Coordinator is also required to conduct a root cause analysis of
the system issues in order to look for permanent solution to ensure
that the problem does not arise again.
• IT Coordinator needs to coordinate with the technicians and IT
engineers for accomplishing various tasks.
• IT Coordinator is required to prepare reports on the system
performance and share the same with their senior officials.
• IT Coordinator may even be involved in installing the systems and
imparting information about its usability to the users.
• IT Coordinator is required to provide tips on the maintenance of the
systems so that the need for troubleshooting the system does not arise
frequently.

Vacancies in the above companies


 Since we are dealing with a good number of clients, we have more than
70-100 vacancies open each month.
 These drives will be on a monthly basis, continuous process
 We will be hiring as many good performers as possible.

Salary and training details:

As the candidates are freshers, i.e. 2017-2018 batch, they will be


selected for Level 0 and Level 1 (as freshers).

They need real time training so that they can on-board in their
respective MNCs. The duration of the training will be in our Bangalore
office for about 30 days to 45 days, full time.

*Note: There are no charges for this training given


in our office to the selected candidates.
Since the candidate will be entering the company in Level 0 or in Level
1 position(s) the salary can reach upto 2 LPA based on the performance
in the interview.
Interview Rounds

For better results, we have successfully been able to exclude the


Aptitude round for the candidates in the interview selection process.

Also, there are no percentage criteria.

If the candidate is a good performer, we can choose to offer a job.

The rounds that we conduct would basically be:


• Group discussion round
• Technical Interview round
• HR interview round The candidate will be issued the Letter of Intent
(LoI) on the same day of the interview. This LoI will be in the
letterhead of PARC IBeON and will contain the details of salary, name
of the company selected for, position selected for and the joining date
of the respective company’s training.
