BASIC ELECTRICAL COMPONENT SYMBOLS HARNESS AND WIRE SYMBOLS


Wire, Cable, or Harness Assembly Identification:
Fuse: A component in an electrical circuit that will open the circuit if too much current flows through it. Includes Harness Identification Letters and Harness
Connector Serialization Codes (see sample).
Switch (Normally Open): A switch that will close at a specified point (temp, press, etc.). The circle indicates
that the component has screw terminals and a wire can be disconnected from it.

The lube distribution manifold inlet is the upper port on the dual purpose
manifold body, located at the left, front of the main case. The lower port
is the outlet from the torque converter inlet relief valve.

Brake pressure for the right brake may be tested by removing the plug
and installing a test tap. Brake lube pressure (LB2) may be tested in a like
manner at the forward port. The test ports on the left side of the machine
are reversed, for left brake pressure and left brake lube pressure (LB1).

All five transmission clutch pressure test ports are


accessible from the rear of the machine. They are:
(CL1) clutch #1 (reverse)
(CL2) clutch #2 (forward)
(CL3) clutch #3 (speed 3)
(CL4) clutch #4 (speed 2)
(CL5) clutch #5 (speed 1) (rotating clutch)

The remote pressure test port for brake pressure
(B1) is installed in the bracket at the top of the
transmission case, just below the fuel tank.
