Dear North Shore 112 Families,

The Teaching and Learning Department is pleased to announce that all K-5 elementary
students have access to myON Reader. myON Reader is a digital library that includes more
than 6,000 digital books. Our subscription also includes ​m​yON News, which delivers 
age-appropriate news articles. S
​ tudents and parents can access myON anywhere on any
device with internet access. myON is also accessible through mobile devices and reading can
occur offline by downloading books through the myON app found in the Apple App Store or
Google Play.

myON has books from every genre to engage even the most reluctant readers: fiction,
biographies, scientific texts, graphic novels and more. All of the books create a magnificent
learning experience for students. The digital books on myON’s platform have optional features,
including audio, text highlighting, and an embedded dictionary.There are many exciting features

Gr. K-2:​ Log in using your child’s QR code or “Badge.” The Badge can be scanned using the
camera on your device.

STEP 1 - Visit ​https://clever.com/in/nssd112

STEP 2 - Click the “Clever Badge Log in” button.

STEP 3 - Click “Allow” for Clever to have access to the camera.

STEP 4 - Scan your child’s Badge by holding it in front of the camera.

STEP 5 - Click the myON button.

Gr. 3-5:​ Log in using your child’s Gmail username and password.

STEP 1 - Visit ​https://clever.com/in/nssd112

STEP 2 - Click the “Log in with Google” button.

STEP 3 - Sign in using your student Gmail username and password.

STEP 4 - Click the myON button.
