Fungsi sosial
Fungsi sosial teks deskriptif adalah membanggakan, mengagumi, mengenalkan,
mengidentifikasi, mengkritik.

Unsur kebahasaan
1. Kata benda yang terkait dengan orang, tempat wisata, dan bangunan bersejarah terkenal,
dengan atau tanpa a dan the, plural (s), this, that, those, my, his, dan seterusnya.
2. Kata sifat tentang orang, binatang, benda dalam kehidupan siswa di rumah, sekolah, dan
sekitarnya, dengan atau tanpa kata keterangan quite, very, extremely, dan seterusnya.
3. Kata kerja untuk menyatakan keadaan dan deskripsi tempat dalam simple present
tense.
4. Penggunaan nominal singular dan plural secara tepat, dengan atau tanpa a, the, this,
those, my, their, dan sebagainya secara tepat dalam frasa nominal
5. Simple Past Tense untuk mendeskripsikan suatu tempat dan keadaan di masa lalu

Example:

Melly Goeslow is a very tallented song composer. She composes

hundreds of songs and most are listed as favorite ones. She used
to sing her own songs, but now she composes songs for other singers.
She is full-figured, but looks charming. Her voice is very nice.
She will wait for her singers to take the
vocal patiently. Sheliked jumping when she sang a song, but now
she just moves around where she stands."

memberikan hiburan bagi pembaca.

Unsur kebahasaan

 Menggunakan simple past tense. Simple past tense digunakan untuk menjelaskan
sesuatu yang terjadi di masa lalu. Contoh nya: I went to the zoo yesterday, I was
very happy.
 Menggunakan action verb dalam bentuk V2. Contoh dari action verb bentuk kedua
seperti: Went, Walked, Ran, Swam, Dll.
 Menggunakan adverb yang menunjukan waktu, tempat dan cara. Contoh nya seperti
yesterday, last week, in the garden, at school, quickly, dll.
 Menggunakan conjuction dan penghubung waktu untuk menngurutkan cerita seperti
First, Then, After that, Finally, dll

A Trip to Tanjung Setia Beach

Last year, at the end of the year, my wife and I decided to

spend our holiday at Tanjung Setia beach, which located
around 234 kilometers from Bandarlampung.
When we arrived at the beach, we were surprised to see
the beautiful view of the beach. After having a quick dip in
the ocean, which was really cold and windy, we realized
that there were not many people there. We thought that it
happened because it was too windy there during that time
but we finally realized that it was Christmas holiday so
almost all of tourists who are used to spending time there
went back to their country.
