Heb 11:1
1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of
things not seen.
Heb 11:6
6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that
cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of
them that diligently seek him.

If without faith it is impossible to please God, then if we have faith

in Him we must please God.

This morning I want this message to be a faith booster. I believe

that the more we hear about the works of Christ, the easier it is for
us to believe that He is - Jesus Christ the same yesterday and today
and forever. Every now and again our faith needs a shot to help us
to believe more. So this morning here comes your shot. But this
one won’t hurt you.

Faith - confident assurance that you have what you ask for even
before you actually receive it.

Some times in this life we are overwhelmed with problems - trials -

tests that seemingly have no answers or at least no quick fix. And
we wonder who can help us with the answer or help us through the
trial - test - or sickness. In all of our problems I can‘t do to much
except pray but “I KNOW A MAN WHO CAN”. I can’t walk on
the water - I can’t cause the blind to see
But I know a man who can. Some call Him Savior - The redeemer
of all men - but I call Him Jesus - For He’s my dearest friend - If
you think no one can help you - And your life is out of hand - I
know a Man who can.

This morning I want to show you a few instances from the Word
to show you that “He Can”. The scripture that I like that fits in
here is - Eph 3:20-21 - Now unto him that is able to do exceeding
abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power
that worketh in us,
21 Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all
ages, world without end. Amen.

That ONE that is able to do is JESUS - SAVIOR - HEALER -

I. Save & Heal

2. Brought to Jesus by four friends
3. Couldn’t get in door so let him down through roof
4. Son thy sins be forgiven you
5. That you might know that the Son of man has power
to forgive sins - Arise, take up your bed and go
your way

II. Woman - Issue Of Blood

A. Mark 5:25 - Story of a woman who pressed through
a crowd to get to Jesus - weakened by loss of blood
B. Mark 5:26-28
26 And had suffered many things of many physicians, and had
spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew
worse,
27 When she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and
touched his garment.
28 For she said, If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole.

C. Doctors couldn’t but she heard about Jesus

D. Here is a Man who can heal me of my affliction
E. And He did
III. Blind Bartimaeus
A. Mark 10:46
B. Jesus was passing by and when Bartimaeus heard that it
was Jesus, he cried out - Jesus, thou son of David, have
mercy on me
C. Crowd - be quiet
D. Cried out more - Jesus, thou son of David, have mercy on
me.
E. Jesus - What do you want me to do for you?
F. Lord, that I might receive my sight
G. Go your way, your faith has made you whole
H. I know a man who can - Jesus - Son of David

IV. Even The Wind And Sea Obey

A. Mark 4:35
B. Jesus and disciples crossing over the Sea of Galillee
C. Arose a great storm of wind & waves beat over the
boat so that it was full
D. Jesus asleep in the back of the boat
E. Master, don’t you care that we are about to perish?
F. “Peace, be still” - the wind ceased and there was a great
calm
G. What manner of man is this, that even the wind and sea
obey Him?

V. “I Know A Man Who Can”

I can’t take a heart that’s broken
 Make it over again
But I know a man who can
I can’t take a soul that sin sick
Wash it white as snow
But I know a man who can

Calm the dark and raging sea
But I know a man who can
