TCS Digital Hiring - Declaration regarding fulfillment of all eligibility criteria

Dear Candidate,

With reference to your candidature for TCS Digital Hiring, please read carefully, the TCS Eligibility Criteria
listed in this document. All these criteria will be verified against original documents that you will need to
furnish at the time of joining. In case you are offered, kindly note that on verification and subsequent
reference/background check, if you are found to have a shortfall in any of the below criteria, your offer
letter/ joining letter/appointment would stand invalid.

Based on the information furnished by you in your application form, TCS is assuming in good faith that
you meet all eligibility criteria and is engaging you in the selection process and any Pre-Employment
activities (if you are offered). This engagement should not in any way be construed as endorsement of
your eligibility. Verification against original documents closer to joining or at the time of joining and
reference/background check thereafter will be the final basis for establishing your eligibility.

 If you are offered, you will be required to scan the signed document and upload it in TCS HUB –
Document Upload Section (details of which will be shared with you later)

Only those candidates who upload the signed copy of this document will be eligible to receive their joining
letters.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

1. Minimum of 70% Aggregate Marks in the highest qualification in all semesters till and during the
selection process for Digital Hiring. Post the selection process, if you are offered, you should be continuing
to have 70% (or equivalent CGPA) in all your semesters and in the aggregate till the last semester.

2. Minimum of 60% Aggregate Marks in all previous academic qualification, obtained in each of

 SSC (10th Standard),


 HSC (12th Standard) OR Equivalent Diploma
 Graduation (if the highest qualification is Post Graduation)

For calculating aggregate, marks for ALL ACADEMIC SUBJECTS mentioned in your mark sheet SHOULD be
taken into consideration (even if your University/Board has treated any of the subjects/languages as
optional and excluded them from the calculation of aggregate percentage).

Also note that MARKS OBTAINED IN NON-ACADEMIC SUBJECTS like Physical Education, Social Work and
Moral Science etc. SHOULD NOT be included in the calculation of the aggregate percentage irrespective
of your university’s policy on this matter.

Marks/CGPA obtained during the NORMAL DURATION OF THE COURSE alone should be considered for
calculating Aggregate percentage. Any improvement marks obtained post the Academic Year should not
be considered in the calculation of Aggregate Percentage. Any arrears/ backlogs cleared post the final
exam will not be considered as eligible.

3. Full time, regular studentship

All the above mentioned courses should have been completed as a regular, full-time student in a
school/college affiliated to a recognized Board/University. Private candidates are not eligible. Candidates
who have obtained degrees through distance education/ correspondence / open universities are also
ineligible.

4. Completion of all academic courses in first attempt

The "Marks/CGPA Obtained" entered by you for your SSC (10th Standard) and HSC (12th
Standard)/Equivalent Diploma and Graduation should have been obtained in the FIRST ATTEMPT. If you
failed in any courses in the first attempt and then reappeared to clear the same, you are ineligible.

5. Completion of all your courses in the normal duration

You should have completed each of the above mentioned academic courses in the stipulated time as
specific by your University/Institute and as per TCSL selection guidelines and should not have any
extended education. As per this clause, you should have passed in all the subjects within the normal
Academic Year. Appearance for an examination to clear any backlog post the stipulated academic period
will be considered as Extended Education.

As an example, let us say that your graduation course was supposed to end on May 15, 2019. If owing to
failure in any of the papers during your four years of graduation, you reappeared for that paper after May
15, 2019, then that will be considered as extended education.

6. Not more than 2 years of Education Gap:

The candidate should not have more than 24 months of education Gap. The same should have been
declared while filling the TCS Application form.

7. No pending arrears / back logs should be there at time of Digital Hiring Process and if you happen to
have any arrears post this selection process, it should get cleared before the final exam of your course
and should not extend to any date beyond your final exam.

9. Tata group employees to get Non-objection certificate/proper relieving documents

If you were/are employed in any of the Tata group of companies, all the documents pertinent to your
relieving should be produced in original at the time of joining. Further, if you have not already produced
a No Objection certificate from your supervisor at the time of interview, you should produce the same at
the time of joining.

Please go through your application form to cross-verify the above points to ensure that you are eligible
for the TCS hiring process.
DECLARATION

I have read all the TCSL eligibility criteria listed above and understand that my candidature/
application/offer/on boarding/employment is subject to fulfillment of these criteria. I hereby declare that
all the details mentioned in the TCS Application Form are true and conform to the TCS Eligibility Criteria.

I certify that the information furnished in this form as well as in all other forms filled-in by me in connection
with my candidature are factually correct and subject to verification by TCS against original documents
furnished by me at the time of joining and through Reference Check and Background Verification. I accept
that an offer or appointment given to me on this basis can be revoked and/ or terminated without any
notice at any time in future if any information has been found to be false, misleading, and deliberately
omitted/suppressed.
