Lesson Plan
On Monday: Introduce the story that is adapted as a reader's theater tale. Discuss the genre, culture, and theme of the story. Give out parts and read over
the tale with the class and discuss as we go to check for comprehension.
On Tuesday: Read the story and discuss this culture where the tale comes from. Students will get up in class and act out the parts as we read.
WednesdayFriday: Reread the story and make adaptations to parts of students want to change to other characters. Practice reading with emphasis and
character roles. Take a comprehension test on Friday.
