EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW WITH TIM SCOTT CONFIRMS 
THAT THE CANDIDATE IS RUNNING ON A 
CONSERVATIVE PLATFORM 
 

 
 
Despite recent controversy and confusion about the partisan-leanings of Tim Scott, the 
politician has assured Padmore Post that he is still running on a Republican platform. 
Despite claims from Elizabeth Warren, the presidential candidate from the Democratic 
party, Scott guaranteed that his policies are not becoming increasingly progressive.  
 
During the June 5th press conference, the Warren campaign attempted to divide 
conservative voters with their claims against Tim Scott. “I’m glad that Scott has become 
increasingly liberal in his policies,” Elizabeth Warren mentioned in her press conference. 
 
These attempts haven’t had a lasting effect on the Scott campaign, but due to these 
miscommunications, Tim Scott felt the need to comment.

During an exclusive interview, Scott explains that he has always had conservative policies, 
and wants to ensure unity in the GOP.  
 
His campaign team has also commented on the confusion, explaining that “[they] have 
accidentally contributed to these missteps.” If voters are confused about the policy 
positions that Tim Scott has taken, it may be due to the mistake in the past. The campaign 
team and the candidate have made sure to clarify their policy standpoints, and have 
ensured that the voters know exactly where Tim Scott stands.  
 
Again, Tim Scott has apologized for the confusion, and explains that “his policies have 
always been conservative.” Interviewees have taken quotes out of context, making Scott 
appear increasingly liberal.   
 
The campaign team encourages voters to re-watch the debate to understand the true 
policy platforms of Scott. Elizabeth Warren has stated that “[his] policies are a step in the 
right direction,” and his conservative voters agree.  
 
His republican platform is clear, and if Warren supports his conservative policies, it brings 
her credibility into question. “Her campaign team may classify my policies as progressive,” 
Tim Scott explained, “as perhaps they are only used to extremely liberal policies.” 
 
His policies, especially in the areas of gun-control, abortion and the economy, are based on 
a conservative platform. Scott is expected to speak at the Gala for Life, on June 6th.

GALA FOR LIFE: HISTORIC EVENT BRINGS TOGETHER 
THE REPUBLICAN PARTY 
 

 
 
The event of the century. Historic speakers, standing up for the rights of unborn children. 
Dramatic interruptions from the Democratic Party.  
 
The Gala for Life took place on the 6th of June, and the event was filled with members 
from the GOP and journalists from every publication. Outside of the door, a crowd had 
amassed, eagerly awaiting the start of the festivity.  
 
Visitors were handed a flyer upon entry, with a picture of a baby and a message: I AM 
WORTH FIGHTING FOR. In this recent celebration, the founders of the Gala took to the 
stage to welcome Presidential and Vice Presidential candidates Tim Scott and Ted Cruz.  
 
Each politician cordially thanked the organizers of the event, and emphasized their 
Pro-Life political platforms. Anna Fisher-Lopez, a member of the Scott campaign,

emphasized that “the attendance and speech made by candidate Tim Scott have made it 
clear that he is running on a conservative platform.”  
 
The Tim Scott campaign has continued to hold true to conservative and Republican values. 
The accusations that Tim Scott is running on a left-leaning platform are completely 
unfounded, and Scott’s attendance at the event supports his Pro-Life beliefs. 
 
Ted Cruz stated that “[he] was honored to give the opening speech, and it was nice to have 
the public supporting the cause.” The Gala for Life brought together the Republican Party, 
and despite having competing candidates, emphasized their shared political platform. 
 
The Gala seemed to be a rousing success, despite the rude interruptions and public 
displays from Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Mayor Pete Buttigeig.  
 
Although there have been claims from AOC that she was respectfully protesting the 
event, her snide remarks and laughter were clear attacks against the speakers.  
 
Individuals attended the event to celebrate their political beliefs, and instead, the event 
was interrupted with unnecessary drama. “She was asked to leave of her own free will, 
multiple times, very politely,” founder-and-Representative Liz Cheney mentioned.  
 
Instead, security was forced to intervene. “You’re going to have to physically remove me,” 
Representative Ocasio-Cortez cried, and the event was forced to come to a pause.  
 
The display became publicly embarrassing for the Congresswoman, and as she left the 
room, Ocasio-Cortez continued to shout. Speakers and listeners alike waited and watched 
as the Representative was escorted out.  
 
Sitting with Representative Ocasio-Cortez was Mayor Buttigeig, who continued with the 
public display after AOC was forced to leave. “He crumpled up our flyers and threw them 
on the floor,” Representative Liz Cheney explained, “and if [Buttigeig] had been there to 
peacefully protest, we wouldn’t have had a problem.” 
 
Instead of being civil, Buttigeig was disrespectful to both speakers and founders of the 
event, and refused to leave. He was asked numerous times to exit the event, but continued 
to sit in the back and cause a disruption.  
 
Although the founders of the Pro-Life Gala have apologized for this embarrassment, the 
support from the audience was unwavering. “I think the Pro-Life Gala went really well, and

I’m glad I hosted it with the people I did,” Representative Ben Carson, another founder of 
the event, explained. “It was a very supportive environment, despite the disrespectful 
actions from Representative Occasio-Cortez and Buttigeig.”  
 
These rude actions from current-and-former members of the Democratic Party have 
allowed the GOP to demonstrate unity and civility. Yet another example of dirty tactics 
and rude behavior, these Democratic displays of discourtesy will continue to divide the 
voters.  
 
The politicians at the event are representing their parties, and the civility demonstrated 
by the Republicans is clear. The Gala for Life was a success, and has brought the 
Republican Party together, once again. 
 
Protect unborn babies. Period.

LINDSEY GRAHAM DROPS OUT OF PRESIDENTIAL 
RACE FOR THE GOP 
 

 
 
In a recent turn of events, Lindsey Graham has dropped out of the Presidential Race. 
Instead, Graham has decided to endorse Tim Scott, and the politicians have worked 
together to reform Scott’s policy platform. 
 
This is another example of the unity of the Republican Party, where the GOP was able to 
come together and support each other. “I dropped out for the good of the Party,” Lindsey 
Graham explained, following his announcement at the Bipartisan Benefit. “I realized that, 
in every poll taken, I was splitting the Republican vote.” 
 
After working to merge the policies and politics from the Scott and Graham campaigns, 
the former-presidential candidate explained that “[Tim Scott] is a true American, and 
understands the true values of the Republican Party.”

Coming together to defeat Elizabeth Warren was a key factor of the decision, as both 
candidates were determined to keep the Democrat out of office. “Electing Warren to 
office would truly be a tragedy,” Lindsey Graham mentioned. 
 
This recent announcement is an example of the collaboration between candidates. As one 
member of the Scott campaign team, Olivia Henry, explained, “[Lindsey Graham] 
gracefully bowed out and he supports us.” 
 
The peaceful end to the competition between Lindsey Graham and Tim Scott has allowed 
the Republican Party to join together. The announcement lacked the drama that the 
Democrats had, when Mayor Pete Buttgeig’s decision to drop out of the race caused a 
huge debacle. 
 
The confusion and division that occurred as a result of those events have split the 
Democratic vote, and caused the public to look unfavorably upon both Warren and 
Buttigeig.  
 
Throughout this election cycle, Tim Scott has had a continuous lack of drama and scandals. 
This has allowed Republican voters to focus on the politics, instead of the controversy.  
 
Again, with Lindsey Graham’s recent decision to drop out of the presidential race, Olivia 
Henry explains that it has allowed Tim Scott to truly represent the Republican Party. 
“Graham has acknowledged that the GOP is moving in the right direction,” Henry explains, 
“and understands that Scott is running on a conservative platform.” 
 
This continuous example of unity and teamwork, shown by the Republican Party, has 
allowed the Tim Scott campaign to push ahead in the polls. With the combined efforts of 
Graham and Scott, the Republican Party will be able to cater to every category of voters.  
 
This recent news foreshadows better things to come from Scott, and the GOP as a whole.
