Hydrographic and Oceanographic Research Vessel[edit]

Indonesian Navy's Rigel-class are considered as one of the most advanced hydrographic and
oceanographic research vessel in Pushidrosal (Pusat Hidrografi dan Oseanografi TNI Angkatan
Laut) or Indonesian Navy's Center of Hydrographic and Oceanographic Research service
because of its equipment and technology. Other than ships that were listed below, Pushidrosal
also took command of other ship including KRI Pulau Rote (721), KRI Pulau Romang (723), KRI
Pulau Rempang (729), and KRI Leuser (924).
