Session 2 Listening :   Rubrics:  


Students learn vocabulary related to activities in the playground. Then, they listen and identify   
activities they like to do on the playground.   ● Activities on the ● Oral Presentation

Session 3 Reading: 
Read to identify specific information about what Lyna likes to do. Students learn expression “like”  ● Like + infinitive  ● Writing rubric
and “love” to talk about their preferences.  (2nd grade)

Session 4 Speaking: 
● Phonetics “m” and “n” 
Students ask and answer questions about what they like to do on the playground. Students learn to 
ask questions about preferences using: “What does he/ she like to do?   
 
Session 5 Writing: 
Student describe their family members´ preferences (using the pictures from the previous day). 
Then, students write sentences about what his/her family members like to do on the playground 
 
Session 6 Listening: 
Students reinforce the vocabulary learned about activities in the playground by playing a game 
(puzzle). Then, students listen and identify activities on the playground. 
 
Session 7 Speaking: 
Students watch a video about prepositions of place. Then, they practice describing some objects. 
Finally, students ask and answer questions about what people like to do in the playground. 
 
Session 8 Writing: 
Students practice asking and answering questions and using prepositions of place to describe where 
the objects in the classroom are. Then, students write sentences about what his/her family members 
like to do on the playground including where they are. 
 
Session 9 Reading:  
Students listen to two songs, sing and identify some sounds (m,n). Then, students read a story and 
identify specific information such as: characters, setting and activities. 
 
Session 10 Speaking:  
Students review vocabulary of the unit and then, ask their partners about what they like to do on 
the playground.

Students have to bring 3 pictures of their family members and also to bring  three pictures of  2nd WEEK:
activities on a playground (to make a poster next class)  15/04 – 19/04
