Should internal combustion vehicles be banned completely?
Introduction
1) Create an open-ended question/idea about Popular Culture. Should vehicles be banned from city
centres worldwide? Should internal combustion vehicles be banned completely? Should electric
vehicles only be permitted?
2) What are you investigating? I ‘ll be investigating essentially the basic elements of pollution and I’ll
be researching and investigating necessary sub topics which relate to my open-end question. Finally,
I’ll be investigating “Should internal combustion vehicles be banned completely?”.
3) What are the aims of your investigation? To interrogate and research about a serious social issue and
compromise the important sources.
4) Why do you think your topic is important, relevant? This particular topic implements and represents
how pollution is affecting us personally, socially, mentally and it is affecting and disrupting our future
generations. The open-ended question is show casting how pollution is reality not an imagined social
issue.
Create an action plan based on your question
1) What are your focus questions/ sub headings? (These are designed to help you uncover your answer).
The key sub headings for this particular question are, reasoning, replacement of internal combustion
compartments and benefit of electric vehicles.
2) What methodologies did you use? E.g. survey, interview, observation etc. The methodologies I’ve
implemented for this assignment is interview because it displays different arguments and perspectives
from different point of views about the whole concept of pollution so they could persuade the audience.
3) Did you need primary or secondary sources? Why? For this particular question “Should combustion
vehicles be banned completely” I’ve implemented both primary and secondary sources because
pollution relates to most hydrocarbons most suspended particles is a primary pollutant. The secondary
sources are the different symbols for different elements such as, Sulphate, oxygen, hydrogen and
Nobelium.
4) Include a reference list.

Evaluation of your work

1) Do you think you answered your question? Explain. Yes, I’ve answered the sophisticated question
thoroughly and I’ve justified every single element and sub topics to my finest potentials. I’ve
thoroughly researched and investigated throw each sub topic so they can all relate and consist
formative context.
2) What went wrong with your research? The sections that was quite difficult throughout researching
and investigating was finding sources which were written by Australian professionals so the
information could relate to Australia. Most of the wed sites contained similar content which confused
me in some areas.
3) What ways could you have improved? I should have firstly brainstormed my topics then the main sub
topics. Informing my teacher and discuss the relevant topics which relate to the social issue. Asking
professional which work with climate change for important information.
