INFORMATION

ABOUT

With this software you can:

- Calculate either the Takeoff or Landing Performance, converting units for
all available Flightmodels
- Calculate Fuel for some Flightmodels
It based on official Data and some other Internet Resources.

SUPPORT

If you have any kind of problems with this software contact me via the e-mail account: apeciko@gmail.com or
with an X-Plane org Fourm PM. This log file is located inside the log folder and must be including with your
support request, if the file is not empty.

RELEASE

The new ourairports Database Source and the ARCAS Data System are implementing with Patch 1.2.0

Some other stuff does also changes

- The Weather Update does have an combine menu, which is easier to handling
- The performance is sligthly increased.
- The Internal code has been improved to handle the new Database Source

Benefits of the new Database Source

- Slope Calculation for all Runways
- No more manual Installation of files expect ouraiports server problems
- Automatic detected QFE Airports
- Automatic detected Closed Runways

Downsides of the new Database Source

- Possible not included Airports
- No automatic detection of takeoff and landing runways
- Possible Runway Length incorrectness

You need a fresh installation if you are using previous Versions as 1.2.0

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS AND INSTALLATION

SYSTEM REQUIREMENT

- 64 Bit Operating System

INSTALLATION

Extracted the zip for your system into an folder with full write/read access.
The final step is to follow the steps on the database page

USAGE

WINDOWS

You can start the software with an double click of the airplanetoolbox.bat file.

MACOS AND LINUX

You can start the software with an double click of the airplanetoolbox.sh file.

TROUBLESHOOTING

The most Errors are logged into the logfile which can be found inside the log folder. But it does give some
other Errors which does only show in an terminal/cmd Window. If you ran into those Errors you don't see an
error dialog and you need open the application with an terminal/cmd and make a Screenshot
(STRG+ALT+PRINT) of this error and send the screenshot and logfile to me.

Example:
You have pressed the Calc Button and no output data is displayed, then a runtime error has occurred.

On Windows computers click on the airplanetoolbox_debug.bat.

On Linux click on the AirplaneToolbox.sh file with the right mouse button and on the context menu you see
an entry open in console/terminal. Click on this entry and the application will be open with an temrinal
window

On macOS, drag the airplanetoolbox.sh file over the terminal dock symbol and release the mouse button.
