TIGAR has been used for about
14,000 patients with Type 2 diabetes, with many successful outcomes. It is not currently useful for children. Generally, several TIGAR reports are needed as a patient’s treatment progresses, and many medical insurance companies have not agreed to pay for each report which costs $175 each.
