THE LOUSIAN CORE VALUES PLATFORM

This platform is subdivided into five parts; resembling the five core values we have. Its main goal is to
promote our core values through practical and significant implications that can contribute beneficial
effects to the school and its students for these values embody us as true blue Louisians.

 Christian Discipleship
Title: Grandest Christmas Jingle Contest
Possible Coordination: CL Department / Center for Christian Formation
Specific Time: December
Particulars: During Christmas Program, there will be an interlevel competition called, “Grandest
Christmas Jingle Contest” where in each level, they will prepare a huge
Production Number, caroling the Christmas classics and the newest Christmas hits, and adding some
flare and creativity into their performances. Each level will choose their own beneficiary and donate
their prizes to them wherein the amount will depend on what rank they will place in the competition.
Main Objective: This platform is to reach out to our brothers and sisters like a true Christian disciple
and to celebrate God’s love for us as we unite as one in celebrating the true spirit of Christmas.

 Passion for Excellence

Title: Study Habits Seminar
Possible Coordination: Guidance Office
Specific Time: To be scheduled
Particulars: The SSG will invite speakers to conduct seminars about proper study habits and how to
achieve academically and this is open to all students
Main Objective: This platform is to further improve students’ techniques and inspire them have the
passion in aiming for excellence.

 Self – Discipline
Title: Louisian Patrol
Possible Coordination: CAT Officers, Boyscouts, and Girlscouts
Specific Time: Breaks and Dismissals
Particulars: The SSG will coordinate with some organizations in patrolling during breaks and
dismissals, making sure that students aren’t violating the regulations stated in the handbook,
especially major infractions such as extreme PDA, bringing banned objects, and the like.
Main Objective: This platform is to ensure safety, peace, and order in the institution and to reinforce
proper discipline to the students

 Servant Leadership
Title: Overnight Leadership Training
Possible Coordination: AP Department / Guidance Office
Specific Time: October
Particulars: The SSG will conduct an overnight leadership training for chosen class and club officers
in order to have an intensive and thorough team building activities and mold them into great servant
leaders
Main Objective: This platform is to empower Louisians in becoming servant leaders and be prepared
in leading the local and global communities

 Social Responsibility
Title: Giving Back Program
Possible Coordination: Community Extension Service
Specific Time: March
Particulars: The SSG, together with the CES and other organizations/groups willing to join, will hold
roam around the adopted communities and give out some aids and pick up some trashes along the
way
Main Objective: This platform is to continue our responsibilities in serving our less fortunate brothers
and sisters and taking care of our environment.
