 Forms of Prayer 

Blessing is the movement of Christian prayer. We bless God for having blessed us.
Prayer of adoration is our basic response to God, acknowledging that God is our
creator and we are created.
Prayers of petition are prayers of asking for forgiveness and the things we need.
Intercession is the prayer of petition in which we ask for things on behalf of another.
Prayers of thanksgiving are expressions of gratitude to God for every good thing.
Praise is the form of prayer that gives glory to God for God’s own sake.
