WHAT IS
UPSR ENGLISH BULL’S EYE
PROGRAMME
It is a combination of techniques to help
teachers use the information from marking
scheme briefings to teaching the students in
class on how to answer the UPSR questions
properly. The techniques will also help
students to exercise their thinking skills when
answering the questions. These techniques
focus specifically on UPSR English Paper for SK
and SJKC.

- Read QUESTIONS 1st then read passage
- UNDERLINE & CIRCLE ANSWERS
- Tell students Question are arranged in the
order of the passage.
- Last 2 Qs – usually the overall of the passage
- Use Contextual Reading technique – clues give
away answers

1 – Read to get the idea what the passage
is about.
