Abstract— The main aim of this project “Vegmart” was to sell
vegetable online through internet. This project Intends different
types of forms with many types of vegetables varities provides to
customers to buy online. Customer can give order from any place
and pay cash on delivery or pay by internet using debit or credit
card. This project maintains the details of customer payments,
vegetable receipts,addition of new customers, order vegetable and
also updating.
This project can also manage the details of order vegetable by
customer and payments made by them with all Payments details
like credit card, debit card etc. This project provides a lot of
features to manage in very well manner. This project contains a
lot of advance modules which makes the back end system very
powerful.
I. INTRODUCTION
The “ vegmart ” website has been developed to override
the problems prevailing in the practicing manual system.
This website is supported to eliminate and in some cases
reduce the hardships faced by this existing system. Moreover
this website is designed for the need of customer and seller to
carry out operation in a smooth and effective manner. When
user wants to buy vegetables he or she no need to go to
market to buy vegetables. This website will help them to buy
vegetables and fruits online. This website will help them the
user to buy vegetables and fruits online. That will save the
time of users.
This website will provide the good vegetables and fruits
through the vegetables seller. This website benefits both the
customers and the sellers to buy or sell the vegetables and
fruits. Every online vegetable Store has different vegetables
therefore we design exclusive employee management
systems that are adopted to your managerial requirements.
This is design to assist in strategic planning and will help
you ensure that your organisation occupied with the right
level of information and details of your future goals. Also for
those busy executive who are always on the go our system
come with remote access features which will allow you to
manage your workstation anytime at all times. These systems
will ultimately allow you to better manage resources.
II. EASE OF USE
A. Online(Live project)
This project is online so anyone can access any time. It has
a good user interface so user can understand easily and buy
vegetables online. Customers can orders vegetables through
there mobile phones by having its good interface.
B. Online payment
The project has a online payment method. So customers
can easily pay for there purchasing vegetables. The payment
for vegetables is both online and cash on delivery . whatever
the customers suitable that can choose the customers for their
payment.
III. MODULE AND DESCRIPTION OF ONLINE VEGETABLE
A. Admin module:
The main objective for developing this module is to manage
the product. So all product will be managed by admin. it
tracks all the information of the product.
Customer will be able to see product details.
Features of product module:
 Admin can manage the product.
 Admin can edit/delete the product.
 Admin can see the list of all product.
 Customer can see his product.
B. Order Module:
The main aim of this module is provided all the
functionality related to order. This order module is the main
module in this project VEGMART which is developed on
PHP and MySQL. Admin will manage all order and
customer will be able to see their orders.
Features of order module:
 Admin can add new order
 Admin can see the list of order details
 Only admin can edit and update the records of the
order
 All order forms are validated on clients side using
JavaScript.
C. Customer Module:
The main aim of this module is provide all the functionality
related to customer. It tracks all the information of the
customer. We have developed all types of CRUD(create ,
read, update and delete)operations of the customer. This is a
role based module where admin can perform each and every
operation on data but the
customer will be able to view only his/ her data, so access
level restrictions has also been implemented on the project.
Features of customer module:
 Admin can add new customer records
 Admin can see the list of customer details
 Only admin can edit and update the report of the
customer
 Admin will be able to delete the record of the
customer
 All customers forms are validated on client side
using JavaScript
D. Stock module:
The main objective for developing this module is to manage
the stock. So all stocks will be managed by admin.

 Admin can manage the store
 Admin can edit/delete the stock
 Admin can see the list of all stock
 Customer can see his stock

FUNCTIONALITY PERFORMED BY CUSTOMER USER
 Customer registration: Any customer can
register on website using the registration
module.
 Customer login: This is a login form ,from
where customer can login into system.
 All vegetables: Customer can see all vegetable
from where customer will be able to see all
vegetable.
 Products details: Customer can see all the
product details from this form.
 Cart: This is the card from in this project.
 Shipping: This is the shipping from in this
project.
 Payment: This is the payment from of the
product.
 Customer order: This is the customer order
from where customer will be able to add order.
 Change password: This is the change
password module from where customer change
his account password.
V. TECHNOLOGY USED IN THE PROJECT ONLINE VEGETABLE
STORE(VEGMART)
HTML: Page layout has been design in HTML.
CSS: Has been used for the all designing part.
JavaScript: All the validation task in animation has been
developed by JavaScript.
PHP: All the front and logic has been written in PHP.
MySQL: MySQL database has been used as database for
the project.
xammp: Project will be run on the xammp server.
