Description
Admix Powershot AF-P is a high performance, powder, alkali free shotcrete accelerator for concrete
and mortar used in the dry spray process. Complies with ASTM C 1141 Type I, Grade 9, Class B.

Use
Admix Powershot AF-P is designed as a set and early strength accelerator for concrete and mortar
for ground and earth stabilization, construction of canals, pools, lining tunnels, repair work and other
dry shotcrete applications.

Application Instructions
Add Admix Powershot AF-P along with the rest of the design materials to previously configured
shotcrete equipment. Then, make necessary adjustments to the nozzle according to application
requirements.
Dosage Rate
Dosage rate varies as a function of temperature, project conditions, cement type, water to cement
ratio, quality requirements and method of application. A range of Admix Powershot AF-P between 3.0
– 8.0 % by weight of cement is typical. Determine optimum dosage rate running initial and final set time
lab trials along with compressive strength, validated by running at least 3.0 m3 of field trials.

Storage
Up to 6 months in original closed package, stored in dry warehouse conditions (5C˚ – 35C˚).

Precautionary measures and Recommendations

 Use fresh cement for best results.
 The type and manufacturer of cement has a significant effect on workability,
physical/mechanical properties, and optimum dosage rate.
 Overdosing (>10%) may be detrimental to compressive strength.
 For professional use only, requires skilled technical installation/dosing and pumping system.
 A minimum of 350 kg of Portland cement per cubic meter is usually recommended.
