A Preparation for Pressure testing:

Fluids used for pressure testing are as follows:

1) Clean potable water, treated for control of bacteria and corrosion
2) For exchangers with stainless steel, monel or non-ferrous tubes, the 32-SAMSS-011,

water does not contain more than 50 ppm chlorides. Para. 9.3.4
3) For lube-oil and seal-oil exchangers the fluid to be used for pressure
testing is the system fluid.
