Should school punish inappropriate behaviour

Nowadays students are very different than students in the past. They don't respect the teacher
or adults. Teachers aren't as strict as they were in the past. But what is the main reason that
students don't have discipline like in the past? Their parents or the society that we live today?

Schools around the world have different rules and they do different practise at school. Some
schools have strict rules and others don't. On the one hand students don't respect the schools
and they think that have the right to do whatever they want. The teacher aren't very strict and
they mustn't react if some students don't behave inappropriate. On the other hand parents are
very supportive when it comes to their children. Every parent defend their children so they
usually think that the fault of sucn a behaviour is in the teacher and not in their child. School
aren't just for education. In my opinion students who behave inappropriate should be punish.
The punishment should consist of three parts. The first time should be to stay every day after
school and to clean the school, the second time should be with helping the students who don't
study or do their homework and the third time should be leaving the school. Of course this all
should be considered with their parents. In the past students had a lot of punishment that today
isn't even mentioned. I don't think that punishment is good for every student so it must be in
colaboration with the psychologist from the school. There are different ways of behaving at
school. It can be against teachers or between school mates. I also think that speaking is the first
step to stay close with students and to make a friendly zone and than it comes the punishment.

All in all, it is very difficult to work with students in different ages. Teachers must be careful with
them and parents too. But there is a border that one child should know. However, appropriate
punishment can adjust their bad behavior immediately.

Today students don't have any respect for their reachers and parents. Schools must put strict
rules so the students will know how to behave at school. We often liste to different stories from
our parents and grandparents that nowadays students are very different than they were in the
past.

Punishment is certanly an important role of behaving well at school. There are different ways of
behaving at school. Against the teachers and between the schoolmates. Teacher should be more
friendly with their students so they won't look at them like the worst enemies. Students will be
more interested in their subjects. The main reasons of inappropriate behaving begins at home.
Unfortunately parents are on their children side so they are against the teachers and they can't
do anything. In my opinion school should punish the students who behave inappropriate. There
should be different types of punishment and it will depends of who will deserve it. It is also an
effective use of staff time, unlike other forms of punishment, such as detentions, when hours of
staff time can be wasted supervising students who have misbehaved.Punishment is a measure to
deal with bad elements for children, whether in the house or school. The punishment should be
considered together with the psychologist at schools and to work with the students. I think the
best way of punishing is not a strict way but something that would be more effective for the
students. Such as givining more practise at school, homework or working in groups so they won't
even have time for behaving inapprorpiate. It is also very important to colaborate with students'
parents.

To sum up, as long as the punishment is good of the students their character and their future it
will always be good.t is imperative for children that proper punishment in school or at home in
the future.
