Women's Football Tournament of the Angeles Foundation

On Thursday, April 18, the women's soccer team had their first tournament in the old
country club training camp. The nine girls, including us, Juan, Carlos and Mrs.
Cortes, left at 9:10 am and returned at 12:10 pm.
Unfortunately, we lost the first game 0: 1 but we did not let this depress us. So, with
that in mind, we came back and drew the second game 2: 2 and we were very happy!
The third game that nobody scored and then we had a deserved rest! We were so
ready for the last game. We were that smart we won 3: 0! HURRAH! We were very
happy. We were very tired. So tired that we almost fell asleep in the mini-bus.

This year's sports calendar is again full with a wide range of sports opportunities
available for our athletes. We have archery clubs before school, soccer during lunch,
multiple sports clubs, basketball clubs after school to name a few, not to mention all
the events in which we are participating in San Simon High School. We have been
fortunate to have been awarded the 2018 Cup for school sports during the 2018
academic year and our goal is to continue this success in the new academic year.
This award reflects the enthusiasm our children have for their physical education
classes, how many of them take advantage of our clubs after school, the success
we have had in competitive sports opportunities and the way in which children take
advantage of the opportunity to practice new ones. Sports directed by visitors. to our
