Foreword

The AS 355 N twin engine version of the ECUREUIL family is powered with 2
TURBOMECA ARRIUS 1A engines of 520 shp (388 kW) each. It benefits from the
FADEC system (Full Authority Digital Engine Control) which makes piloting easier and
safer. it is the most affordable twin-engine helicopter in the market.
Thanks to its two engines and its redundant systems, the AS 355 N is able to perform
missions such as flights over water, or hostile environments by day and night.
It is compliant with the JAR OPS 3 regulation requirements. More particularly, it is totally
suited for police and MEDEVAC operations over large cities, aerial work and offshore
support operations. It is fully IFR certified. It can also be equipped with a 3 axis
autopilot.
Thanks to its single engine flight performance, the AS 355 N is able to operate from
building rooftops, to work near power lines or to ensure safe harbour pilot
transportation.

The data set forth in this document are general in nature and for information purposes only.
For performance data and operating limitations, reference must be made to the approved flight manual and all appropriate documents.
