Specif ications: Floor Pocket
D The flush pocket is permanently installed in the floor as shown in
the drawings.
D Each floor pocket provides a thick (d"/9.5 mm minimum)
self-closing, cast iron door. Cast aluminum cover plates are not
accepted.
tr The floor pocket and back box are finished in black polyurethane
paint.
tr The black box is suitable for mounting in concrete or wood and a
standard clean-out opening.
Q The door has an angled cable opening large enough for a full
size 1213 or 6/3 cable to exit without kinking and lie flat on the
f loor.
Q An equipment ground bonding jumper between back box and
cover are provided.
