 The video based on the true story of the heroism of our soldiers, inside enemy territory.

Experience as never before, the historic military action. Watch the true story of the Surgical

Strikes, told by those who led the Operation by History TV 18. This video is all about the

surgical strike which is conducted by India against the militant launch pads across the Line of

Control in Pakistan.

This surgical strike planned only because of an incident occurs earlier that month, four

militants had attacked the Indian army at Uri on 18 September in the Indian state of Jammu and

Kashmir, and killed 19 soldiers. So Indian Army has planned for a surgical attack against the

militants. To show that India also has every power to push back. The Indians definitely did not to

airdrop commandos to hit "launching pads of militants" inside Pakistani-held territory, or

conduct ground assaults deep into the Pakistan-administered side. They did crossed through Line

of Control (LoC), a border of Pakistan administered Kashmir and Indian administered Kashmir.

Indian Army had planned various team to enter the LoC and identified where the camp is

and they planned the attack. The attack was done on 28th and 29th of September. 38 terrorists and

2 Pakistani soldiers were killed in Indian Army surgical strikes, no Indian casualties. Those killed

included terrorists, their guides and handlers.

5.45-6.20-minute Team Planning-Video shows the how the team was planned for the mission

and also the higher officials in army meet together to decide which method they want to

implement in this mission to get success. In HRM point of view in an organization if any

problem occurs all the members should plan for that. This will be result in very smooth way of

functioning the organization.

7.30-9-minute Hiring, Selection, Recruiting-The army is deciding on a surgical strike that can

create, maximum impact with minimum men. This process could be related hiring, selection,

recruitment etc., for finding the most eligible person for the surgical strike. Find most fittest

person for this job. They should be good in all the sectors, they should hold on any situation,

they should be well trained. So the selection process is very strictly followed.

12.00-14.00-minute Training and Planning-This part of the report shows the importance of

training and well planning for producing a very good workforce.

18.00-20-minute Training and Development-Not only from Indian Army we can also learn

from terrorists every night they are trained to practice to fire in the general directs where the

attacks are likely to be. These are the training and development program which is conducted by

the Terrorists

The observation of the enemy base is showed. From here we can relate an HR should always

have a close observation on people and the activities that happens in the organization.

23:20 - 24:45 Minute Recruiting-Here Indian Army is doing Internal recruiting for the surgical

strike. Major X and Major Z are selecting soldiers who will be able to handling weapons,

Climate, Food, Sleep, Vision, Pain etc. They are selecting best out of the group.
26:05 - 26:10 Minute Selection-The commanding officer and the Majors have selected the right

candidates for this surgical strike. They concerned with identifying the best candidates for jobs

from the group of qualified candidates.

32:24 - 33:03 minutes Safety-Indian army also focuses on safety measures for the soldiers who

is handling weapons like Rocket launcher, etc.

44:20 - 44:40-minute Safety and Health-Indian Army also has the medical team with the

selected group of soldiers who can provide first aid to the soldiers who were attacked.

41:10 - 47:00 minutes Safety, Health, security-Exit plan, first aid for the soldiers in the

battlefield, helicopter recovery, First Aid kit, etc.

 Watch and plan process starts: The strike team 1 & 2 has to be placed themselves on

to watch and plan they had three objectives

1) Cross the line of control

2) 24-hour target surveillance
3) Safe exit plan.

The process starts 24 September they have several challenges ahead the team should

be undetected or else the entire mission will be a failure for that they have taken precautions

like walk consciously, be as small as possible should be aware of even a small change in the

surrounding because in every few minutes there is swipe search by aerial dictators a small

movement could be caught in it. To avoid this, they have to be cautious. Major x has ensured

they choose an isolated path to avoid casualties mean while major z and team had cross POK

and reach at 14.03 both team have reached the enemy zone. They could see 24/7 patrolling in

Pakistan toll

Execution of plan: Attack towards the enemy territory has started by both teams. The

enemy had no idea what going on. They were being cleared off by the Indian soldiers. By the

time both teams finished devastating the enemy, the Pak soldiers started to attack Indian

soldiers. The information to evacuating the enemy territory was intimated to the teams on time.

Team 2 evacuate the place on time. Meanwhile team 1 is carrying on the process of destructing

the enemy territory. Team 1 is also given the intimation to evacuate the place. Both teams

exfiltrate the enemy territory (time 41:38-42:00). Both teams reach their meeting point but still

danger is behind them. They check the members before they head towards the line of control.

Strike team 1 cross line of control into the Kashmir valley. But still one of the soldier get injured.

He stepped on an anti-personnel mine and the medical force could provide him only compact

first aid, to save his leg he had to be evacuated. Team 2 leave the evacuation point. Finally, the

mission is completed with all pride.

Our view: here the team head major x and major z are quite determined to complete the

task in spite of the problems and challenges ahead they are ready to take up the mission and try
to ensure the protection of the team mates this shows dedication and spirit of a leader. The

team members are given proper training (Combat Training, physical training) the team member

are carefully chosen each member in team are experts in their respective areas (they had an

expert in explosive, missile launcher)
