1.2 Documentation description

1.2.1 Definition or description


The definition or description is as follows.
Text: the product instruction will be referred to as documentation below.
Machine or equipment: the apron feeder with scraper conveyer will be referred to as the
machines or equipment below.
System: the parent machine / system into which the apron feeder with scraper conveyer will be
installed, is referred to as the system below .
Product safety label: Label for the potential of one or more hazards and to describe the safety
measures or actions required to avoid danger for the beholder. The product safety label is used to
transmit the harm, the prevention measure and (or) the harm cannot avoid the result and so on.
Operator:An operator is operating machine enterprise employees or arranging the qualified
personnel or professional personnel according to the use.
Trained personnel: Trained personnel means training and training of qualified personnel, Trained
personnel can complete the specified work and avoid known risks.
Qualified personnel: Qualified personnel are those that are able to carry out the work assigned to
them because of their technical training, knowledge and experience, as well as awareness of the
relevant standards and regulations and are able to identify potential risks independently and prevent
them. Qualified personnel are the staff of the operator or those that are authorised by the operator to
carry out the work.
Trained personnel: Trained personnel means persons who have received training ,have the
knowledge and experience and be able to complete the assigned tasks and to identify the potential
risk of personnel.
Qualified electrician: Qualified electrician refers to someone that possesses knowledge and
experience in electrical systems due to his professional training. In addition, the qualified electrician
must be familiar with the relevant standards and regulations, and be able to evaluate tasks that have
been assigned to him and recognise possible hazards, and prevent them.

1.3.2 Intended use


The machine may only be used for transporting the materials specified in Technical Data (→ 3.3)
in non-potentially explosive areas.
The machine is a partly completed machinery. Commissioning is prohibited till the machine has
been integrated into a system and the complete system meets the requirements of the EC machinery
directive and the country-specific safety rules.
Any other or additional use is considered as improper. The manufacturer will not be liable for any
damage resulting from this as part of the warranty.
If used properly, the machine is designed to be set-up, operated and maintained without posing
any danger to the personnel. Set-up, cleaning, maintenance and repair work should only be carried
out when the machine is shut down.
Intended use includes observing the entire documentation and complying with the inspection and
maintenance requirements.
1.3.3 Improper use
Any use of the machine other than the intended use can lead to dan‐gerous situations.
——Always use the machine only as intended in line with the specifi ‐ cations in this
documentation, in particular with respect to the lim‐its of use stated in the technical data.
——Do not carry out any work, which could change into a dangerous situation.
——Never operate the machine without safety devices.
——Never manipulate or work around existing safeguards.
—— Never work on the machine without personal protective equip‐ment.
——Never make any modifications to the machine that change its state as delivered by Sinoma
Technology &equipment group co.,Ltd..
——Always use the machine within the permissible operating values.
Unintended use includes:
——Transportation of other materials that are not specified in the Technical Data (→ 3.3)
——Using the machine in explosion protection areas
——Operating the machine outside a system Any damage claims which arise due to improper
use are excluded. The operator bears sole responsibility for damage caused by non-in‐tended use.

1.4 Declaration

1.4.1 Legal Information

Dear users,
This manual is compiled by the Sinoma Equipment Group Co., describe the details of during
transportation, assembly, commissioning, operation, maintenance and removal of machinery and
equipment. The technical responsible person should be operated and repair the equipment in
accordance with the instructions in this manual, In order to guarantee the normal operation of
equipment, and avoid malfunctions and disputes.

1.4.2 Implementation standards

Reference for this product JB/T4255-1999 《Medium apron feeder》 Standard.

1.4.3 Declaration of noise emission

Sinoma Equipment Group Co., hereby confirms that the following results were noted during
testing in accordance with DIN EN ISO 3744 De‐termination of sound power levels and sound
energy levels of noise sources using sound pressure measurements and DIN EN ISO 11204 Noise
emitted by machines and equipment to accuracy class 2 for the determination of noise emission:
——The sound pressure level at idling speed is 85 dB.
—— The sound power level at idling speed > 85 dB (A).
1.5 Environmental protection
Observe the following environmental protection instructions:
—— The respective country-specific environmental protection regulations have to be
followed
—— Collect any leaking oils/hydraulic fluids during assembly and disassembly.
——Dispose of oil/hydraulic fluids according to the local guidelines in a correct and
environmentally-friendly way.
—— Ensure environmentally-compatible disposal after final decommissioning/disposal of
the machine or its individual components, as well as of any auxiliary and operating
materials.
—— Recycle all metal and plastic components.
1.6 Fire protection
Important prerequisites for proper fire safety:
——Ensure the proper operating condition of all equipment and devices.
——Unnecessary activities that cause a fire hazard are prohibited,comply with the internal
laws and regulations and the factory fire regulations.
——Remove any dust deposits thicker than 5mm from the area of the machine and any of its
components that may become heated mechanically or hydraulically.
——Training of personnel on how to react in the case of a fire and in the use of small fire
extinguishers (fire-fighting measures).
——The operating personnel must monitor the machine at all times during work, and pay
attention to signs of fire or smouldering.
——The operating personnel working with the machine must permanently watch out for seats
of fire, or signs of fires igniting, and immediately report such observations to the operator.
——All the operating personnel have to ensure that highly combustible materials should not
come in contact with hot parts of the machine.
1.7 Warranty and liability
Our shall comply with the terms and conditions of sale and delivery of the goods specified in the
contract.Warranty and liability claims for material demage and personal will not be accepted if they
can be attributed to one or more of the following causes:
——Human causes can not be used properly.
——Improper mounting, putting into operation, running and maintenance of the machine.
——Operation of the machine when safety switching devices are defective or when safety
relays and protective devices have been improperly fitted or are not in perfect working
order.
——Non-compliance with the information in the instruction manual with regard to the
transportation, storage, assembly, commissioning, operation, maintenance and repair of

the machine.
——Unauthorised changes to the design and structure of the machine.
——Unauthorized technical modifications.
——Failure to timely monitor machine parts which are prone to wear.
——Use spare parts from substandard manufacturers
——Use for any other purpose than specified
——Use consumables without permit by manufacturer (especial lubricant).
——Improperly completely repairs.
——Catastrophes attributable to extraneous causes and force majeure.
——Deployment of untrained personnel.

2.1.3.4 Hazard classes

When a geometric shape is used around a graphical symbol, the shape’s corresponding safety
colour shall identify the type of safety information to be conveyed by the graphical symbol(e.g.
warning,prohibition or mandatory).

When a hazard severity panel is used, colour shall be used to identify the hazard severity panel’s
corresponding degree of hazard severity (e.g. DANGER, WARNING or CAUTION),as Tab.6.

2.2 Safety and information signs

Safety and information signs should be affixed to the machine is easy to observe.Check the
completeness and legibility of the safety and information signs regularly. Always replace missing or
illegible signs immediately.

2.3 Obligations and qualification of personnel

2.3.1 Required personnel qualifications

Personnel engaged in the work of relevant equipment at site, should be:


——Only trained and qualified personnel are eligible for operation, adjustment and
maintenance of machines and related work, just :
• To avoid casualties and property losses during operation.
• to ensure the equipment work in the best condition, the work can run effectively.
——Relevant experience is required for work involving each of the assembly, operation,
refurbishing, maintenance and service of the machine.
——Make sure that only personnel authorized to do so work on the machine.
——Not approved any damaged reaction ability of personnel (e.g., due to drugs, alcohol,
drugs, etc.) to operate equipment.
——Comply with local working people age limit
——Comply with national standard which the equipment used in.
——And the personnels on-site should do:
——Personnel must wear personal protective equipment. The supervisor must check that this
requirement is met.
——Responsibilities in respect of the installation, commissioning, operation, maintenance
and repairs of the machine must be clearly defined.
——To comply with the fundamental regulations governing occupational safety and accident
prevention.
——To comply with the safety instructions in the supplier documentation.
——To keep all safety and hazard instructions on the machine in a legible condition.
——To keep transport routes clear and free from obstacles.
——Comply with local laws and regulations.
2.3.2 Responsibility of the operator
The operator of the equipment has the following obligations:
——Only to use trained personnel equipped with personal protective equipment who are
familiar with the fundamental regulations governing occupational safety and accident

prevention and have been instructed in the running and operation of the machine.
——Only to use training qualified personnel personnel who have read the safety chapter and
the safety instructions.
——To have personnel undergo instruction in occupational safety and accident prevention.
——To comply with legal requirements regarding operational safety and reliability.
——To carry out regular checks to ensure that personnel are working in a way which exhibits
an awareness of safety.
——The operator is responsible for safe and proper use.
——Ensure that the equipment operation area is adequately illuminated. An illuminance level
of 300 lux is recommended in the operating area.
2.4 Possible residual hazards
Residual risk is the risk that remains after the protective measures are taken.
Residual dangers are not obviously recognizable and can be a source of possible injuries or
health endangerment.
2.4.1 Overview of residual hazards
The machine has been designed and built in accordance with the state of art and acknowledged
safety engineering practice. However, its use can pose risks to the life and limb of its user and/or third
parties. There is also the potential for damage to the machine or other equipment and property.
No changes, additions or conversions may be made to the machine without approval of Sinoma
Technology & Equipment Group Co.,Ltd.
Written permission must be obtained from Sinoma Technology & Equipment Group Co.,Ltd.for
all conversion work.

2.4.2 Countermeasures
The hazards resulting from the risk assessment must be considered by the operator and the
appropriate safety specifications must be implemented.
2.4.3 Organization and management issues
The hazards resulting from the risk assessment must be considered by the operator and the
appropriate safety specifications must be implemented.
——The operator must use appropriate personal protective equipment.
——Personnel working on or with the machine must tie back long hair and must not wear
loose clothing or jewellery (including rings),so as to avoid being forcibly involved in
equipment damage.
——Check safety switching devices regularly to ensure its safe and reliable performance.
——Make sure that you are aware of the possible means of reporting and fighting fires.
——Provide instructions for emergency procedures.
2.5 Operating and hazardous areas
For the operator the areas on the switching cabinet and control desk (central control room) and
on the local control panel are operating areas
For the purpose of carrying out refurbishing, cleaning, maintenance and repair work the
immediate area around the machine and the interior of the machine are hazardous areas. Only skilled
personnel adhering to the safety regulations are permitted to work in the hazardous areas.
The hazardous area for maintenance and repair work stretches roughly 1 m around the machine
or component assembly.
2.6 Risk and risk reduction measure

4 Structure characteristics and working principle

4.1 Technical description of the machine

The material from the hopper apron feeder is pulled out, and the feeding belt machine. It can
regulate the amount of material given according to the production capacity of the crusher, so as to
ensure that the crusher works in best state works.
The scraper conveyer is installed in the bottom apron feeder, the leaking apron feeder sent to the
belt conveyor.

4.1.1 Apron feeder

The apron feeder is made up of drive shaft(1), framework, (3) carrying roller(7), return roller(8),

apron deck(5) and caterpillar chain(6), tension apparatu(4)s, etc. And it adopts the planetary gear

reducer and frequency converter (2)to drive or reduce the speed. The hold back set up in the

high-speed shaft end of the reducer casing can prevent the drive shaft(1) from moving reversely,

thus prevent the equipment from stopping or other reasons cause the apron deck(5) to move

backward that cause the emergence of the accident. The reducer casing and motor(2) link with the

drive shaft (1) through the locking plate of the output end of the reducer casing. And because moment

supports arm and supporting the board can offset the torsion, it can keep driving part in the correct

position.

The part of the framework consists of the main girder (1), crossbeam(2) , tail slides for straining
(3), slide and supporting beam(4)and trough steel frame (5)etc. Framework bear the weight of
supplies, apron deck and caterpillar chain, carrying roller, the return roller, etc. and transmit load to
the building construction structure.

The tension apparatus is consists of shaft (1), tension chain wheel (2) , Bearing (4) ,bearing
seat(5) and adjusting bolt(3)etc.
Tension apparatus is installed in take-up slides of framework. Through regulating adjusting
bolt(3), it can tension and adjust two caterpillar chain, and makes pulling force of two caterpillar chain
become more and more even, makes the apron deck operate steadily, not run partially.
Tensioner(2) holds two parallel caterpillar chains, and the grooved bearing seat(5) is mounted
on slides. Regulate one of pole's end of adjusting bolt (3)and bearing seat, screw on or fasten the
loose nut with the special-purpose spanner screw, the bearing seat(5) can be slipped among the
slides for straining, and can be regulated.

The apron feeder comprises two driving device.


The driving device consists of frequency conversion motor (2), Planet gear speed reducer (1) ,

alternating welding blade (8). A single link (1) through a pin shaft (2) and a cotter pin (3) connected

a nut (7) and links (1) is fixed.

When installing the scraper, the direction of the scraper must be aligned to the

5 Transport and storage

5.1 Safety guide for transportation and storage

The machine/plant is transported in component parts or as assembly groups. Make sure that
suitable lifting tackle is used to unload the parts from the transport vehicles and move them to the
storage location.
The machine/plant must be transported with adequate care in order to prevent damage and not
endanger staff. In addition to the following information, the general and local safety and accident
prevention regulations must be observed.
Overhead gantries and mobile cranes or lifting tackle with a sufficient load bearing capacity must
be available to carry out the unloading, transport/loading safely and correctly.

The transport and storage symbols on the machine packaging must be heeded.

Keep away from heat! Keep dry! Danger! Glass! This way up!

Sling here! center of gravity! Stacking limitation! Clamp here

Do not provide additional attachment points on the machine by welding, flame cutting
or drilling (notching effect of welding and flame cutting points or bores and related risk
of cracking)

The weight of assembly groups and components must be specified, so that the
applicable hoisting devices and slinging equipment can be selected. Avoid to
overloading operations

In addition to meeting the safety requirements of the second chapter, the transport work shall
comply with the following requirements:
——Use suitable transport vehicles.
——Secure the load safely.Use designated rigging points.
——When loading equipment, only use lifting devices and load-bearing.
——Designate a competent banksman for lifting operations.
——Machine parts must only be lifted properly.
——Use safe lifting devices bearing the CE mark.

——Make sure to use qualified lifting equipment and aids.


——Remove any material lying loosely on the load.
——Instruct staff to leave the hazard area.
——Check that the load is secured symmetrically at all points.

5.2 Transport inspection

Upon delivery of the machine to the place of use, the delivery must be checked against the
shipping documents.

Transport damage

Complaints relating to damage, missing items or incorrect items can only be


made directly upon receipt of goods at the operator's premises. A complaint at
a later time is not possible.

——Report damage, missing items or incorrect items to Sinoma Technology & Equipment
Group Co.,Ltd.
Check assemblies and components for visible damage and defects. Inform the supervisor
immediately if any changes are detected. If necessary, immediately interrupt your work and secure
safe of the workplace.

5.3 Storage requirements

5.3.1 General requirements

All the delivered machine and plant components must be stored on suitable supports to keep them dry.
The storage place must be free from vibration.
The stored machine and plant components must be protected from water, sea water, aggressive
vapour or gas and increased ozone concentration.
If the storage time is exceeded by a lengthy period (i.e. more than 2 months), all the bearings of the
machine and plant components must be completely filled with suitable grease. The shafts in the bearings
must be turned several times once a month. They must be subsequently topped up with grease. The
bearings and housings are thereby protected from condensation water and rust. After storage, i.e. before
the plant component is commissioned, the grease must be removed and the bearings cleaned and
regreased (approx. 1/3 of the volume of bearing and housing).
All machines and plant components shall have a storage temperature of + 5 °C minimum and + 40 °C
maximum. Electrical equipment is to be stored dry and frost-free, temperatures between minimum + 5 °C
and maximum + 40 °C.
All unpainted surfaces must be provided with suitable protection against corrosion.
The storage location must be dry. If equipment is stored in a shipping container, a "desiccant material"
must be placed in the container prior to storage.
The equipment must be covered and good ventilation provided in the storage place.

The packing climate must be protected from environmental influences, in order to maintain rust
prevention and the effectiveness of siccatives.
The storage area must be clean and free from dust and other contaminants.
Plant components (include:motor、electric control cabinet、Hydraulic unit etc)may not be exposed to
direct sunlight.
Plant components made of plastic or rubber may not be exposed to direct sunlight. The storage
temperature must be + 5 °C minimum and + 40 °C maximum. It must be protected from contamination by
grease or oil.
Insurance with sufficient coverage for damage caused by third parties, transport and weather damage
(lightning, flooding, and storms) and theft must be concluded for the entire handling/storage period until the
machine/plant has been accepted.

5.3.2 Storage facilities & other details

5.3.2.1 Open-air storage

Please note that storage under cover is preferred. However, large-volume plant components with a
paint finish and a low proportion of mechanically processed surfaces and wear parts whose functional
capability is not adversely impaired by surface corrosion can be stored outdoors.

Items must always be stored on a support such as timber planks, pallets, or similar, preferably on
a level, drained and gravelled base surface. Contact with surface water and the ground must be
avoided. All parts must be stored in such a way that no water can accumulate.
The effectiveness of the protection of machined surfaces (protection against corrosion and
mechanical damage) must be checked and repaired or renewed if necessary.
Markings on plant components must be readable without the part having to be moved. If water
accumulates on a plant component through visible markings, the component must be provided with
new visible markings at suitable points.

5.3.2.2 “Roofed" storage

Plant components which have to be protected from direct sunlight as well as those which have to
be protected from rain as a result of mechanically machined surfaces, rubber or plastic seals,
ventilation holes, or similar..

Examples:
——Rubber belts for troughed belt conveyors. Please note that the belts are delivered on coils and
must be stored in a vertical position.
——Rubber and plastic seals
——Components with a high proportion of mechanically machined surfaces, e.g. gear rims, pinions
with bearings, gear units, gear motors, motors, fans, parts of filter plant housings, rotary gate valves,
control and shut-off valves, large-volume couplings, bearing housings and bearing segments for the
slide shoe bearings.
——Idlers for troughed belt conveyors, drive stations and pulleys, mechanical parts of belt weighers.
——Plant components with ventilation holes e.g. gear units, gear motors and bearings equipped with
openings for air pressure compensation.
——All compact hydraulic units and compressors which have to be protected against dirt by plastic
foil. The covering on the bottom must remain open, in order to prevent the accumulation of
condensation water.
——Operating fluids such as lubricants, grease and oil as well as sealants such as silicone, paints,
thinners and cleansers.
Items must always be stored on a support such as timber planks, pallets, or similar, preferably on a
level, drained and gravelled base surface. Contact with surface water and the ground must be avoided.

5.3.2.3 Storage "in closed, partially air-conditioned rooms"

“Partially air-conditioned” means reduction of air humidity and temperature limit. All components
whose functional capability is adversely affected by high temperatures and high air humidity, especially
electrical equipment, but also other components.
Examples:
——Bolts/nuts for mounting the gear rim
——Anchor bolts
——All types of instruments/measuring instruments
——Hydraulic pipes, gear rim lubrication
——Switches, control centres (MCC = motor control centre)
——Transmitters, frequency control
——Separators for hydraulic and lubricating units
——Measuring instruments

5.3.2.4 Storage in “closed lockable rooms”

High-quality, sensitive and valuable components.

6 Equipment installation

6.1 Safety guide for installation

In addition to meeting the safety requirements of the second chapter, the installation work shall
comply with the following requirements:
——Secure the areas in which work will be taking place to prevent unauthorized access.
——Co-ordinate assembly work with all companies involved.
——Ensure that all auxiliary equipment used (e.g.ladders) is saft!

6.1.1 Welding considerations

——Welding shall be performed in accordance with international or local standards, including the
selection and application of welding rods.
——The welding work must be welded by the welder who has the qualification certificate.
——The selection of welding rod must conform to the opinion of the field engineer.
——Prohibited in bad weather, such as wind, rain or snow days, the implementation of welding.
——If preheating, it should be based on local temperature and the thickness of the workpiece,
and in line with the relevant standards.
——The oil, paint and water must be cleaned at the position of the welding.
——Installation and maintenance of the welding operation area of the site, should ensure that
the nearest ground wire connection, but also to prevent the welding current through the bearing.
——Before welding,welding technology of large welding seam must be designed in accordance
with the relevant standard.At the same time, the welding must be carried out under the supervision of
the field engineer, to prevent welding deformation..
——Pat attention to fire and explosion when welding.
——Welding quality requirements:
• Welding seam shall be free of defects and slag.
• In welding process, it must be measured and recorded according to drawings and process
requirements.
• We must prevent the welding deformation, and ensure the welding seam sufficient strength, no pores
or water.

6.1.2 Pipeline installation considerations


All piping systems should be installed two times. The first time, according to the layout and
installation of all lines; Second times, first remove the piping, cleaning in pickling neutralization -
Cleaning - drying order, then all the installation. The installation process should be carried out in
accordance with the requirements of field engineer or supplier.
The installation points are as follows:
——In the process of pickling,pipeline should be beat , to cause the foreign body to fall off.
——It is prohibited to use corrosion and defective seamless steel tube.
——When cutting pipes,the both ends should be chamfering and burring.
——The pipeline joint must install the sealing ring.
——Hydro-cylinder connection should use hose
After installation and testing of hydraulic lubricating oil station pipeline, pipeline pressure and
pressure should be carried out according to the supplier's requirements, check the joints and
connections for leaks. If there is a problem should be handled immediately at the scene.

6.1.3 Lifting and handling equipment


a) Before construction, all lifting handling equipment, ropes and pulleys must be tested and
checking, proved infallible.
b) When using a lifting or handling equipment, the following provisions must be complied with:
Operations of crane equipment must strictly abide by safety rules and regulations related to
construction safety.
All crane equipment must not overload.
c) When handling or lifting equipment,please note the following precautions:
——There must be a specialized personnel responsible for directing, when lifting or handling
major equipment,command maker must be a experienced, high-level technical personnel .
——When handling equipment, please figure out the site conditions for unloading, handling
road conditions, the installation location of the equipment, the direction and priorities of
handling equipment, to avoid rework.
——Horizontal transportation of equipment parts must be balanced, do not allow casual
upside down or upright.
——Lift the marked location of equipment, or find the center of gravity if there is’t a marked
location on the equipment.
——Place some wood or rubber between hoisting ropes and the machined surface or edges
of the equipment instead of direct contact.
——If the lifted weighs is close to allowable lifting capacity of the hoisting machinery, the test
must be performed before actual lifting to make sure it’s safe enough.
——The weight of each major component is shown in the installation drawing of this
equipment.
——When using more than two lifting ropes, forces should be uniform for each rope, which
should not exceed 30 ° angle with plumb line at the same time.
——The nearest distance between the crane and the transmission lines should comply with
the following table;

——When using two cranes hoisting equipment, the allowed load for each crane should
be reduced 20% than rated load.

6.2 Installation preparation and precautions

When planning the installation, please note the following tips:


——Refer to the equipment installation drawing with dimensions of both foundation and
equipment.
——There must be sufficient space to accommodate peripheral devices, such as: feeding device,
the delivery device.
——Manufacturer assumes no responsibility for problems due to incorrect installation of the
machine.
——It’s important to use appropriate tools and appliances, assign the appropriate installer to
complete the installation properly.
Before installation of the equipment,begin with acceptance of equipment foundation according to
foundation drawing,equipment drawing and actual dimension of the equipment. Foundation

problems must be resolved firstly to ensure the quality and progress of the installation. Civil
construction units should provide the necessary drawings and construction completion inspection
records.
Civil engineering contractors are responsible for the quality of the foundation, and the
implementation of construction work needs to comply with the local official supervision.

6.2.1 Content of equipment foundation acceptance

a) Check the correctness of the centerline and elevation point provided by civil engineering
contractors.
b) Check the dimensions of foundation,elevation,foundation holes and mutual position
according to equipment installation drawing and process layout.

6.2.2 Equipment foundation must meet the following requirements

a) All the legacy templates and exposed useless rebars of concrete must be removed, and
clean both the installation site and debris, dirt and water in the foundation holes.
b) Surrounding of the foundation must be filled and compacted.

6.2.3 Testing apparatus (not supplied) for foundation acceptance

Level, theodolite, foot tower, steel foot plate, steel tape measure, to gauge ink lines etc..

6.2.4 Steps of foundation acceptance

a) Construction unit is supposed to organise civil unit and installation unit to inspect the
foundation.
b) Civil unit is supposed to provid self-test records and grade of concrete of the foundation.
c) Check the centerline and axis of the foundation ,position and depth of foundation holes.
d) Operator rechecks the foundation elevation according to the civil drawing.
e) Record the measurement result. Modify the foundation if measured deviation exceeds the
allowable deviation.

6.2.5 Major equipment foundation, civil units should provide settlement observation
point to install unit and construction unit.

6.2.7 Installation preparing

a) If the crusher foundation is of armored concrete, the anchor holes should be cleaned to see
if they are in keeping with the layout drawing before the anchorage bolts are inserted and
two wedge-shaped leveling blocks are put beside each hole.
b) The dust and coatings on all faying surfaces of individual parts should be cleaned before
they are assembled. All defects and damages of the components caused during transporting
should be rescued.
c) If the installation time of the machine from the factory for a long time (more than 12 months),
to drive shaft, tighten the bearing of the tension apparatus to clean, and put on the new
grease
d) The assembly should be strictly in accordance with the technical requirements.

6.3 Equipment installation

6.3.1 Apron feeder installation

6.3.1.1 Installation of the framework

——The framework is hoisted in place, and the head is fixed on the broken shell body, and the
tail part is fixed on the concrete foundation.
——Leveling machine,and should pay attention to the horizontal level. Error of the horizontal
level degree can't be greater than 1/1000, namely the error is not greater than 3mm.
——Fastening bolt.

6.3.1.2 Installation of the main shaft of the transmission

Hang the drive shaft to put in the head of the framework, adjust the bearing seat after installing
coupling bolt, make sure vertical degree of main shaft center to vertical center line of the framework
greater than 1/1000 of main shaft two bearing span, level degree greater than 0.15/1000.

6.3.1.3 Installation of apron deck and roller chain

a. Relax the nut of temper screw of tension apparatus, make the bearing seat reach the

minimum position of tension apparatus;

b. At the previous underpart (or back underpart) of framework, Lay the bar steel or the steel

plate temporarily; Its top elevation should keep the same with top elevation of the return rollers.

c. Hoist out and hang the steel wire rope (should notice when it is a steel wire rope: Apron deck

arc curved board should carry to strain the device) in the apron deck tip (fasten with caterpillar chain

together already) with the crane on another end, make the apron deck and caterpillar chain slip from

one end to another end, and then connect the second section of roller chains after entering a

distance at present, whose living section is linked through pivot same as other section, and living

section pivot and chain and cooperation public errand of them is loose unlike others. Hand mallet

d. After installing on the second section of apron decks, continue hanging the roller chain one

ropes at the same time, so that the distance of the piecing office of the caterpillar chain dwindles,

e. Adjust the position of the bearing seat of tension apparatus, make its elasticity proper,

unloaded have a certain arc which hang down and transit.

When the track chain is engaged in the field, the pin must be pressed and
installed, and the pin hole and the pin hole are in the 0.2mm or so. Slipknot to
mark, the maintenance is convenient to disassemble!

6.3.1.4 Installation of the driving device

The output shaft of positive speed reducer casing and the drive main shaft of apron feeder link
through locking device, Should exert the torque spanner and divide into three times (1/3M , 2/3M , M )
and tighten the screw, M=820N.m.Check with M moment again after tightening . The union exporting
shaft inner hole and shaft scribbles the machine reducing the speed not to on the surface having the

MoS2 grease, to ensure a fastening but not slipping, only need to spread machine oil, spread the
infertile grease on thread. The output shaft of motor (3)and the input shaft of positive speed reducer(1)
casing link through locking device. The motor(3) and reducer casing(1) are linked and fixed each
other by the bolt through each corresponding end tray. The place of end tray of reducer casing and
moment support arm link with the bolt. Moment support arm(4) little end inserts in the supporting
board (5)welded at framework ,and regular by the pressing plate(6). Need to pay attention to the
accuracy of relative position between the electrical machinery, reduction reducer casing and
framework.

Disengage the backstop, motor idling, confirm the direction of rotation of the
motor and reducer input shaft rotation mark!

6.3.1.5 Installation of the conveying trough and head cover

Only in the noload test run no problem, you can install the conveying ttough and the head cover.

On the bottom of the bin railing welded on the bottom of the silo conveying trough (2) arranged
the through a bracket (3) on the frame, the bunker is connected plate (8) after adjustment for welding

Clearance of conveying trough and the bottom edge of the bottom of the bin

6.3.2 Scraper conveyer installation

6.3.2.1 Installation of the conveying trough

a) The conveying trough head and the middle part are connected together by bolts to ensure that
the conveying trough base plate is in the same plane.
b) The transmission main shaft and the tension apparatus which are assembled are respectively
arranged in the head part and the back part of the conveying trough.
c)Looking for leveling positive drive spindle, bearings and bearing reducer base welded on the
conveying trough head and fixed drive shaft.
d)Fixing drive device.
e) Will be well connected with the conveying trough head and the middle to find the right position
of the welding in the plate feeding machine under the main beam.
f) To install the concrete part of the conveying trough bottom plate, and the conveying trough in
the head and the middle part of the guide plate in the same plane.
g) In the back of the conveying trough to find the right after the plate feeding machine under the
main beam .

To ensure that the head sprocket and the rear tension wheel are in a straight
line!

6.3.2.2 Installation of link chain and scraper

a) The chain and scraper are linked together.(FIG. 13)


b) Will be connected to the chain and scraper from the bottom of the bottom of the guide
c) Pull the chain and the scraper out of the upper part of the drive sprocket, and make the chain
and the scraper on the guide rail.
d) The chain is connected at the end of the tension wheel.
e)adjust the position of the bearing seat of the tensioning device, so that the tightness of the
bearing seat is appropriate.

When installing the scraper, the direction of the scraper must be aligned to the
direction of operation!

7 Commissioning

7.1 Safety Guide for commissioning


In addition to meeting the safety requirements of the second chapter, the commissioning work
shall comply with the following requirements:
——Prior to powering up machines, these cannot pose a risk of potential injury.
——The supplier's documents are read ,understand and followed
——Working areas are protected.
——Edges are made safe.
——All auxiliary equipment used (e.g. ladders) is safe. Risk of failing!
——Ear defenders are worn in te event of noise pollution in access of 85 dB(A).
——Hazardous areas are closed off to unauthorized persons.
——Prior to the test run, an acoustic signal is issued to warn personnel if a start-up test is only
possible with the safety devices inactive.
——The main switch is turned off during necessary retrofit or adjustment operations and that
machines are secured against unintentional powering-up.
——The activities during commissioning are carried out by qualified skilled personnel only.
——Safety distances are observed.
——Machine parts are not used as a means of accessing overhead locations.
——Safety devices are removed only when the machine is at a standstill.
——A warning is given before safety devices are shut down for start-up work, and that
immediately after this work is completed these safety devices are reinstalled are restarted.

7.2 Commission preparation

——Seek information about first aid and rescue options (emergency doctor, fire service/mine
rescue team, etc.).
——Become familiar with the working environment, including for ex‐ample, all obstacles in the
working area.
——Check transmission oil level.

For a detailed description, see the supplier documentation.

——Lubricate all lubrication points.


——Check whether all the screw connections are fitted tightly.
——Check the chain plate apron feeder and scraper conveyer tensioning
——Remove foreign particles and material from the machine and the material feed devices.
——Function test of all control and measuring equipment.
——Check the machine for any visible defects or damage.
Should you note missing or loose screws, missing covers, oil leaks, defective, cut or bent lines,
resolve the problems first be‐fore operating the machine.

7.3 No-load test

After checking everything to reach normally, it is not smaller than the continuous noload test run
of 2 hours to go on, the noload test run should reach the following requests:
——It is normal to operate steadily; the part turned round is rotated flexibly, has not blocked
and collided phenomenon. Sound of turning round is even, and there are no remarkable
vibration and impact;
——Every fastener does not become flexible, especially the linking bolt will never allow
becoming flexible between apron deck and the caterpillar chain; chain of bolts and chains

of scraper conveyer and scraper bolts must not be allowed to loose.


——carrying roller and the return roller rotate flexibly, and the crooked arc board of the first
apron deck and base plate of the last apron deck should be joined well;
——the maximum temperature of the bearing does not exceed 90°C;
After commissioning, the following inspection shall be carried out:
——Before operating, reexamine the fastening situations of all connection bolts and foundation
bolts;
——the chain plate apron feeder and scraper conveyer tensioning.

7.4 Load operation

After the no-load operating has been finished and qualified, the crusher can be charged with
material.
——Check all the connecting bolts and the anchorage bolts before operating.
——Start crusher and subsequent equipment.
——Start the apron feeder at the lowest conveying speed.
——Increase the speed step by step till the nominal throughput rate of the apron feeder has
been reached.

When it is unable to prevent the material hole from unloading emptily, should have the
garrulous material first before feeding to the apron deck from material hole, and can pour big
pieces of material into after the supplies in the material hole reach certain thickness.

7.5 Stop

Normal stop
Before the crushing plant is stopped, the material feed has to be interrupted so that the crushing
plant can run empty.
When the crushing plant is stopped make sure that sufficient material remains in the feed hopper
to protect the conveyor covering.

When the feed hopper is run empty, make sure that first small material is re-feed to
the hopper to protect the conveyor covering against the impact load of lump material.

8 Operation

8.1 Safety Guide during operation

In addition to meeting the safety requirements of the second chapter, the operation work shall
comply with the following requirements:
——Prior to power-up, check that this cannot pose a risk of personal injury.
——Check the machine at least once per shift for any visible external evidence of damage
and check that safety switching devices are in perfect working order. If you detect a
problem, stop the machine immediately and rectify the cause.
——Only operate the machine if all safety switching devices are in place and fully operational.
——In the event of malfunctions, stop and secure the machine immediately. Have the causes
of such problems rectified immediately.
——Safety switch:
• The fitting of any switching devices purchased by the operator is solely his or her
responsibility.
• Isolating or non-isolating safety switching devices might be required in addition to those
supplied with the machine.
• Safety switching devices must not be removed until after the machine has been
stopped and secured against restarting.
• Before taking safety switching devices out of service (e.g. for maintenance work), issue
warnings accordingly and replace such devices or put them back into service
immediately on completion of this work. Safety switching devices must also be checked
prior to operation being resumed.
• Safety switching devices must be checked regularly to ensure that they are in normal
working condition.

8.2 Checks before the start of work

——Check the machine and the system for completeness, damage and safe operating
condition.
——Check the surroundings of the machine and the system so that an unobstructed
operation is possible.
——Make sure the safety devices are working correctly.

8.3 Turn on the machine

——The system controller starts the individual aggregates according to the start-up
conditions.
——Feed the material slowly and evenly, and increase it to the specified throughput rate.

8.4 Checks during operation

——Check the temperature of the pedestal bearings at regular intervals. The maximum
permissible temperature is 100 °C.
——Check the machine for unusual running noise during operation.
——Check the machine for oil leaks.

8.5 Stop

——Before the crushing plant is stopped, the material feed has to be interrupted so that the
crushing plant can run empty.
——When the crushing plant is stopped make sure that sufficient material remains in the feed
hopper to protect the conveyor covering.

9 Maintenance

9.1 Basic information

Some problem caused by inadequate or inappropriate maintenance will produce high


maintenance cost and long time shutdown. Regular maintenance is essential. Safty working and
service life of equipment depend on right check and maintenance.
All the maintenance work should be done according to the plan, do not delay the maintenance
work.
Period adjustment, maintenance and inspection work must be done in accordance with the
specified in the specification. All the work will be implemented by qualified person.

In order to get safety operation and avoid equipment failure and damage to human
body, it is important to patrol each class in order to find hidden danger and take
corresponding measures. The manufacturer does not accept any claim demage
caused by improper maintenance or no maintenance.

9.2 Safety Guide for the maintenance period

In addition to meeting the safety requirements of the second chapter, the maintenance work shall
comply with the following requirements:
——Carry out prescribed maintenance and inspection work at the required intervals.
——Stop the infeed of materials.
——Seal off the area in and around which work will be carried out.
——The machine must be stopped and disconnected from the voltage supply prior to
commencing cleaning, service and maintenance work. Secure the machine to prevent
restarting.
——Lock the main switch and remove the key. Affix a sign warning against re-starting.
——Depressurize pneumatic, vapor pressure and hydraulic equipment and let off any
remaining pressure.
——Secure all system components and operating media (e.g. compressed air and hydraulics)
upstream and downstream of the machine to prevent accidental starting.
——Use suitable arresting devices to lock moving parts.
——When replacing larger components, rig and secure them carefully to lifting devices. Do
not stand or work under suspended loads.
——Check that all screwed union connections are tight.
——Once maintenance work is complete, check that all safety switching devices are in
working order.
——When carrying out assembly work overhead, use ladders/scaffolding and working
platforms which have been tested for safety. Do not use machine parts as a means of
accessing overhead locations! Safety harnesses to protect against falling must be worn
when carrying out maintenance work over- head.
——There must be no evidence of soiling, oil, grease, snow and ice on handles, steps,
railings, resting places, platforms, ladders, etc.
——Any machine parts which are not in perfect working order must be replaced immediately.
——Only original spare and wear parts may be used. If third-party products are used, we
cannot guarantee that they will have been designed and built to provide the requisite
levels of performance and safety.
——Use safe lifting devices bearing the CE mark.

9.3 Maintenance and inspection

a) In the specified time (inspection cycle, maintenance cycle),check the proper operation of the
equipment, lubrication and wear condition.

b) Replace or repair all damaged / worn parts.


c) Inspect for damage and corrosion of the painted surface condition regularly,and repaired by
professionals.
d) Check the function of all electrical equipment and instruments by professionals regularly.
Maintenance and repair work must be complying with all safety requirements strictly.

9.4 Cleaning and maintenance matters needing attention

——Every day to check the degree of equipment pollution. Don't let the pollutant
accumulation or caking.
——The interaction between the various parts of mechanical equipment may interfere with
each other, resulting in failure and increased wear, should be avoided.
——Only when the machine stops running, to carry out cleaning work.
——Every time before the maintenance work, please clean the machine.
——Some of the openings, considering the safety and functional factors, not allowing water
and other impurities, must be covered or sealed with adhesive tape.
——Don't use corrosive cleaning agents.
——Do not spray directly in the electrical device and relay box, switch cabinet, air intake and
respiratory filter or surface lubrication.
——Those areas that are difficult to clean up, use the right tool to clean up, such as a special
broom.

9.5 Maintenance table

Must pay attention to operating conditions. It may provide the necessary basis for
the change and adjustment of the maintenance interva.
