CALIBRATION WHEN REPLACING THE FILAMENT BOARD WITH MAS METER(6)

* When the filament board is defective and new one is replaced, follow the below steps.

1. Each board has some differences of voltage. Accordingly, refer to the below standard
datasheet when replacing filament board by new one.

* In case of High Voltage Cable HVC-6M (Test Point : between GND and the connector J4-3)

mA step Initial value Ready (Preparation)

25mA 13.84VDC 29.5VDC
50mA 13.84VDC 32.0VDC
75mA 13.84VDC 33.5VDC
100mA 13.84VDC 34.5VDC
150mA 13.74VDC 39.0VDC
200mA 13.74VDC 40.7VDC
250mA 13.74VDC 41.9VDC
300mA 13.74VDC 43.0VDC
400mA 13.74VDC 44.3VDC
500mA 13.74VDC 45.5VDC

* The above values may have some differences in accordance with the length of High Voltage
Cable or the condition of calibration.

2. With reference of the above values, make measure the voltage of the old filament board
in advance and write down the values. Replace the old board by new one.

3. Test Point on PCB of the replaced board : Make place the tester between GND and J4-3
and set up the display condition to 200mA/70kV. When the ready, adjust its value to the same as
the voltage of PCB on the old filament board with the pot resistor ‘R60’.

25- REX T/S

* Follow the above steps to obtain the more precise mA/mAs values.
(mA, mAs Calibraion with mAs Meter)

1. Make preparation mA/mAs Meter.

2. Disconnect the wires and connect the terminal of mAs Meter to the below connector (A).

3. Select the display condition to 200mA/70kV/20mAs.

4. Make reset mAs meter and press the exposure switch. Check whether the established
mAs value is displayed. Otherwise, adjust its value to the same as the established
20mAs on the display with the pot resistor ‘R60’ of the filament board.
5. Make establishment each mAs(each mA X 0.1sec) as the above steps. Adjust mA Data
on the display console and make calibration as REX-R SERIES CALIBRATION(2) and
REX-R/F SERIES CALIBRATION(4)
