K.A.P. is a company that has specialised in Suzuki builds and conversions for over
twelve years. KAP has a team of experienced mechanics and vehicle painters. Conversion
work is carried out in a modern, fully equipped, well run workshop.

K.A.P. recently installed the latest Dalby Spray/Bake paint booth. This enables us to provide
the best working environment in which to produce high quality paintwork using the most
modern type of paint system. We repair and paint any make of vehicle to the highest
standards. Our aim is to give a speedy cost effective service. We can weld, fabricate, panel
repair and replace panels from the slightly damaged to a fully re-panelled vehicle.
K.A.P. are an approved repairer for Direct Accident Insurance.

GEAR SHIFT SYSTEM

This automated shift system can be retro fitted to all

sequential gearboxes. Utilising closed loop control
methods, it offers reliable, ultra high speed gearshifts with
the reliability levels demanded in motor sport.
Each system comprises a comprehensive installation kit.
Comes with 2 ultra high quality, positive throw billet
machined alloy shift paddles which simply attach to most
steering wheels.

 OUTLAW

The new K.A.P Outlaw has been designed to build on the success of it’s predecessor the
K.A.P Bandit using the latest technology. The Outlaw has a lower centre of gravity, a 104
inch wheelbase and an overall height 6 inches less than most Land Rover race vehicles.
The overall height of the Outlaw is 2.5 inches less than the Bandit and has a much wider
cockpit. The computer aided designed triangulated tubular spaceframe is available in CDS or
T45 tubing and comes complete with all suspension mounts, radius mounts, steering box
mounts, front panhard rod brackets and rear watts linkage brackets. The frame is supplied
under contract from the UK’s leading cage specialist Protection and Performance and
complies with all current FIA international regulations. The frame tubing is bent using a state
of the art CNC mandrel push bender and is manufactured under strict quality control.
The Outlaw is designed to take a whole range of engines.
The full GRP shell is based on a Suzuki Swift. The front end panels are available separately
(in case of any accident damage).
K.A.P’s works Outlaw runs a specially developed 3.5 Cosworth 24 valve V6 engine producing
in excess of 300 bhp mated to a Quaife sequential gear box which feeds this power to a
Milner remote transfer box. The Outlaw uses Fox twin shockers on each corner comprising of
an adjustable bypass shocker and a Fox coil over shocker to give it all the agility it needs to
be competitive on the roughest terrain.
You don’t have to go to these lengths to have a competitive Compsafari vehicle. K.A.P can
supply vehicles to suit most enthusiasts pockets.
We can supply you with as little or as much as you require from an externally panelled space
frame to a fully ready to race vehicle.

K.A.P will be competing for the fifth season in the northern Off Road Clubs competitive safari
events along with selected BORC events.
Last season a K.A.P Bandit competing in it’s third season in Ireland won the Irish Off road
Championship.
