1. In compliance to the provisions and requirements of the Implementing Rules and

Regulations of Republic Act 9184 otherwise known as the Government
Procurement Reform Act, this Office hereby creates the new composition of the
school’s Bids and Awards Committee (BAC) for the procurement activities of the
school effective immediately, to wit:

2. Assuch, you shall perform the following duties and responsibilities:

a.Conduct pre-procurement and pre-bid conferences;
b.Determine the eligibility of prospective bidders;
c.Receive bids and conduct the evaluation of bids;
d.Undertake post-qualifications of proceedings and resolve motions for
reconsideration;
e. Recommend award of contracts to the Head of Procurement Entity;
f. Recommend the imposition of sanctions in accordance with Rule XXIII
of RA 9184;
g. Perform other related functions as deemed necessary.

3. The aforementioned BAC composition shall take effect immediately until

appropriately revoked or rescinded with a subsequent memorandum.
