A. ELEMENTS OF THE FEATURE STORY

For PLATINUM SPONSORSHIP, feature consists of the following sections:

DESCRIPTION OF THE VARIOUS ELEMENTS

1. AT A GLANCE
Presented in bullet point format, this section gives readers an overview of the
work of the EC. Data include:
 EC classification
 Date established
 Year of initial connection
 Areas covered
 Number of member-consumer-owners
 Total connections
 Percent of residential connections
 Percent of commercial/industrial connections
 Total length of lines installed
 Peak load
 Complete name of GM
 Complete name of President of the Board

2. ABOUT THE EC (around 60-100 words)


This will tackle background info about the EC. This may include important
events in its history, number of employees, names of towns and cities covered
in the franchise, motto/mission-vision, etc. This is similar to “ABOUT US”
found in most corporate websites.

3. MAIN ARTICLE (around 400 words)


The main article will profile the EC and the service area in story format. It will
give readers a glimpse of the province where EC is based and the
accomplishments or good the EC does. Here are a few topic/theme
suggestions but feel free to suggest other topics. Only one topic will be
discussed in the article:

 About a specific project – (e.g. related to NIHE, Mini Grid Electrification/


Off-Grid Electrification, Tourist Island Electrification, SEP, etc.)
 How electricity contributes to the growth of a business, trade, or
industry – this will profile a specific industry (e.g. agriculture, tourism,
construction, small-scale businesses, traditional industries, etc.) and how
electricity/EC has directly or indirectly contributed to its growth
 Helping communities, towns, or cities grow – this will document the
progress of a sitio, community (barangay), town, or city and the role EC
/electricity played in making this happen
 EC success story – this will take a peek at the growth of the EC, perhaps
from humble beginnings to the success it is today
 Doing good – this can cover CSR activities and other projects aimed at
helping the marginalized members of areas served by the EC, protecting
nature, or preserving culture

4. HIGHLIGHTS
Written in sentence format, this section describes the key wins of each EC.
Possible topics:
 A milestone like reaching x number of connections
 Major award(s) received
 Important events

Needed from sponsor: please identify the topics and provide references.
Alternately, sponsor may already write this section.

5. SIDEBARS (around 60-80 words each)


This can tackle CSR activities, best practices, important projects, or any other
meaningful or interesting topic EC wishes to highlight in the feature, but can’t
be included in previous sections because of space limitation.

B. PHOTOS / ARTWORK

Out-of-town site visit can be included in the package. While extensive photo
shoots will be done during the visit, please email to us Item 1, if available:
1. High-resolution photos including drone shots that capture in good light the
work of the EC and beauty of the province/service area
2. List of places to be visited/photographed during the visit of Project Brio
3. Company/coop logo in tiff or jpg format
