 INTRODUCTION

Through research and review, we have obtained information about the company
Caña Brava, which in this paper we will describe a brief and precise tide.

We have chosen the company Caña Brava because during its processes it tries to
have a minimum negative impact and generates friendly alternatives to the
environment

 ENTERPRISE CAÑA BRAVA
HISTORY

2006

Founded in September of this year. September 27 purchase of 3,800 hectares of

land to private owners and 3,200 hectares to the Chira Piura Special Project.

2007

January 7 Signing of a contract with the Chira Piura Special Project; the leveling of
land and the construction of hydraulic infrastructure begins.

28th March. Installation of drip irrigation system, laying of the network and electrical
substations.

November 22th. Sowing of sugar cane.

2008

April 14th. Assembly of the ethanol factory.

2009

June 18. Production of electrical energy from the combustion of bagasse from sugar
cane.

August 12. Harvest of sugarcane using harvester machines, avoiding the burning of
the cane.

August 15th. Ethanol production

December 12th. The exports are started. 6,320 tons bound for the Netherlands.

December 30. First local sales of fuel.

DESCRIPTION

Caña Brava is a company that has enterprising people, with talent, passion and
commitment that make the business grow profitably and create value for its
shareholders, for the people with whom they work, for their clients and suppliers; in
this way they contribute to the progress of the community.

It is a leading company in the production and marketing of biofuel in Peru, especially

in the cultivation of sugar cane, in its grinding and processing of juices for the
manufacture of ethanol, in the national and international commercialization of
ethanol and in the generation of electrical energy with biomass.

They work to create an excellent working environment where people have the
opportunity to develop personally and professionally without any discrimination.
Integrity, respect and integrity are values that are considered fundamental for
success.

PROJECTS

It is the group of three companies of the Romero Group that are exclusively
dedicated to the production of ethanol from sugarcane. It has 6500 hectares of its
own production of cane, grown on desert terrain and irrigated by a drip system that
allows the efficient use of the water from the Chira valley.

It has a production capacity of 350 thousand liters of ethanol per day, with a milling
of 4000 tons of cane per day. The harvest is done with modern machines that allow
to avoid the traditional cane burning.

Caña Brava is made up of:

 Agrícola del Chira S.A. which is responsible for planting and harvesting the
cane.
 Sucroalcolera del Chira S.A. responsible for the grinding and production of
ethanol.
 Bioenergía del Chira S.A. responsible for the generation of electrical energy
from bagasse.
