AUTO-HAEMOTHERAPY:
EFFECTIVE ALTERNATIVE IN SELF-INMUNE PATHOLOGY?

Dicho tratamiento consistió en la extracción de 10 ml de sangre venosa del
brazo y su inmediata administración intramuscular en el glúteo. La
periodicidad de las autotransfusiones fue de una vez cada 48 horas durante un
total de 20 días. A partir de la tercera sesión el paciente comenzó a mejorar de su
iridociclitis, resolviéndose totalmente el proceso a la séptima sesión. También
presentó mejoría de su artritis de tobillos, pero sin ceder totalmente ya que
persisten las artralgias y episodios frecuentes de inflamación. No se presentó
ningún efecto secundario local debido a las autotransfusiones.
